((A couple of days after the latest Time Lord fiasco... Semi-open; at some point the Rani will have to talk to at least one of Those Two in isolation, whether she—or they—like it or not. Also, slight retcon.))
There was, the Rani decided, no point in keeping the spy drone any longer.
For one thing, she felt that had learned everything useful that she might need to know about what was going on with Those Two. For another, and more importantly, nothing was ever going to top the entertainment value of watching them pummel each other like they hadn't –ever really, not like that, and maybe they should have–
in centuries. She'd keep that footage around forever, to be hauled out any time she needed to cheer herself up.
The whole affair had put her in such a good mood that she didn't even bother summoning the spy drone remotely. She walked to Toon Town to take it down herself. Because there was no way she was going to pass up an opportunity to laugh in their –bruised–
faces, should they show them.
She was slightly bemused to find that the Doctor's TARDIS was nowhere to be seen, but guessed that he was probably sulking somewhere else. Typical.
She took her time getting the little device down from its hiding place. And really, the amount of time she spent prodding its workings was probably excessive, but what the hell.
