The Solo children were... unmanageable at the best of times. At the moment they were hanging off the railing of the staircase, threatening to jump. They wanted to see who could float to the ground the slowest when they let go. Well, the twins did. Young Anakin was never quite so foolish - he was sitting in the corner assembling a puzzle set for a child at least six years older than him. So quiet, that boy.

He tried to tell them that their uncle would be most displeased if he knew that they were using their powers in such a frivolous manner, but they never did listen to him. If only Chewbacca were closer at hand. But he was sadly engaged at the moment, which left Threepio in charge all on his own. Sometimes he really did wish that they would let him go with his mistress on the diplomatic missions. He was far better suited to that. And he often did wish that Artoo did not have to stay with Master Luke on Yavin 4, as he could use some company. But each to their duties. They all had their purpose.

He was determined, as always, to do General Solo and Mistress Leia proud.

Going, what do you mean you're going? Going where? )

((Like Artoo, Threepio is taken twelve years after Return of the Jedi. And yes, we're using the phonetic spelling of their names, just like in the books. Because we are dorks. ^_^ Come talk to both of them over here!!!))

Fry rubs his forehead and takes stock of his surroundings, trying to remember if it’s normal that he has no idea how he got here.

“What is this, some kind of Disneyland planet?” He doesn’t see Leela or Bender or the Planet Express ship anywhere. “Guys?” Leaving him alone on a Disneyland planet is so not funny.

Well, okay, it is kind of cool that there’s a Disneyland planet )

((Fry is from Futurama, specifically sometime in the last season. Frankly it doesn't really matter where XD))

A couple of days after the Hachiko statue was finished, Cayce went off to see if she could find Sallah.  Read more... )

Her exchange of letters with Setsuna on the subject of people leaving or going missing rankled, and so after some thought, she posted a large sheet of paper on the central bulletin board.

OFFICIAL DISNEYLAND CENSUS
PLEASE SIGN YOUR NAME TO THIS NOTICE.

If you don't sign your name, we'll assume something has happened to you.
And if it turns out you're here after all,
we'll ... beat you with wet noodles. Or something.
--Cayce P.

A little later, the following postscript was added.

P.S. Some wiseasses people are wondering what this is for.
Short version: there's a couple of people here that can't be found,
and plus I don't think there's ever been an official list of who's here.
So be a good sport and sign. Please?
--C.P.

Later yet, Cayce scribbled on one more postscript.

P.P.S. And Mr. Fell had a great idea -- if you don't mind, jot down
where you live -- either the specific building or just the area of the park.
Thanks!
--C.P. (Starcade, Tomorrowland)

((Have at it, guys -- graffiti the sign, have written arguments with others on it, leave jokes, whatever ... just make your presence known.))

I'm starting a dance club in Tomorrowland and am looking for help. Anyone who might be interested in infrequent work as a bartender or DJ, let me know.

If you're a musician who might like to be part of a live band to play at the club, contact Katou.

Mei Chan is starving. The young girl sits hunched in her train seat, holding her growling stomach, until she notices that the train is no longer moving. Distant cries of "Central City~ You are now in Central City~" reaches her ears, and she jumps up.

"We're here, Xiao Mei!" she shouts in glee. The tiny panda on her shoulder mimics her excitement. With newfound energy, Mei dashes out of the train and through the station, calling out "Excuse me!" "Pardon me!" with her cute, accented-voice all the way.

Then finally, she's outside. The sun is shining, it's a beautiful day, and as she continues running, everything becomes slow motion until her strength finally gives out. Mei Chan collapses in the middle of the street, face down, and lies there for several hours.

I didn't know Central City looks like a theme park! :D )

((I'm another new player here hallo~ Application for Mei Chan from the Fullmetal Alchemist manga. Taken from after Chapter 32 and shortly before her appearance in Volume 11. Also, is it alright for me to play Xiao Mei too? These two pretty much come as a set.))

Just another cosmic soldier, looking for the quickest way out... )

((This, ladies and gentlemen, is Captain Jack Harkness, brief companion of the Doctor and still rather bitter about being left for dead – although the fact that he was actually dead and is now unable to die is rather beside the point. He’s come here some time after Parting of the Ways, but before the Torchwood pilot Everything Changes. And, yeah, OOC, this is Mac. Got an idea and will hopefully not drop this one, hmm?))

((In honor of Election Day in the United States, I present to you Mr. John Adams of Massachusetts. You all did vote, right…?))

A short, ordinary looking, middle-aged man in Georgian clothing as interpreted in the early 1970s appears in a puff of hot-pink smoke. He's carrying two large books and what appears to be a magic wand. His face lights up as he catches sight of the back of the Main Street train station. Could he have actually made it back to Philadelphia?

Then he sees Mickey approach. No, apparently not. There were no walking illustrations the last time he was in Pennsylvania, and although he wouldn't put anything past Dickenson's people, the pervasive smell isn't present either. He sighs. Somewhere new then…

"Some ride there, wasn't it?" Han says, grinning. His grin slowly fades, however, when he realizes he's not on the Falcon. A moment later the memory comes back; he was just getting off when everything started to feel hazy and faint. And now he was...

Somewhere he was absolutely sure he'd never been before. Uh-oh.

((Han is taken from after the original triology, but before any of the novels. Because I've never read the novels. ._. Sorry, SW buffs.

I'm also v. v. sorry if this sucks, because I only got around to re-watching "A New Hope" and "Empire Stikes Back" last night. I'll try and re-watch "Return of the Jedi" soon. But enough excuses. Onward and forward and upward and... a bunch of other -wards.))
