Sent to everyone in the park as well, but a bit politer

Mr. Fell and Miss Liddell
cordially invite you to a Holiday party

To be held, five days from today,
after sunset at our home

Above the Fire station,
Main Street

Kindly RSVP by post

We look forward to seeing you

Crowley, I'd really like it if you came, but don't feel obligated if you'd rather not. Oh, I'll need some good brandy and rum for cooking and drinks. Do you have any you could spare? Actually, I also need nutmeg if you can find any.

I really do hope you'll come,

Aziraphale

((I'll start a thread for the party on the 23rd, under the understanding of course than many of us will be posting infrequently around then. For new people still in applications, if you're assigned a land before the 23rd, assume you were invited. ^^))

Mr Fell and Miss Liddell,

Thank you for your kind invitation; I'd be delighted. I'll speak to Calvin; I'm sure he'd be happy to join you as well.

Sincerely,
Susan Sto Helit

Mr Fell and Miss Liddell.

I would be...very interested, to say the least, to join your party on the appointed night. I shall be there.

Mokona hums happily as it starts writing the response Fay asked it to. It's almost nice that Fay can't write and Mokona can, because this way Mokona can add its own little comments in the message.

Dear Fell-san and Liddell-san, thank you very much for the invitation.

Mokona is so excited!

We will be there. Even Kuro-rin. We'll drag him if he's being a silly doggy.

Kuro-daddy always is such a silly doggy.

Have you met Kuro-pon yet? He's not as scary as he looks. A little scary.

A lot scary, thinks Mokona! But he doesn't bite! Well, anybody but Fay-mommy anyway!

But don't send him away.

Because then Fay-mommy would get sad.

Anyway, thank you again! Fay and Mokona and Kuro-doggy

And Mokona wrote the letter! ^_^

Aziraphale,

You cannot be serious. What part of 'demon' and 'celebration of the birth of Him incarnate' could you possibly think went together? We don't get on, if you'll recall.

If you want the liquor, you'll have to come pick it up.

-Crowley

((This isn't necessarily the final work on his attendance. He may yet be convinced...))

A-

Right. A holiday party. Hosted by an angel. As near to December 25th as we can figure.

I should be around.

Dear Mr. Fell and Miss Liddell,

Oh boy! I love parties! I'll be there for sure! Do you need anything? Will there be entertainment? What kind of party is this? I hope it's not one of those stuffy parties, but I hope lots of people will be there. Will lots of people be there? I know I will be!

Because Alice learnt it was rude to leave questions unanswered

[identity profile] alicereflection.livejournal.com 2006-12-20 06:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Dear Mr Burrfoot,

I do believe there is nothing we urgently require, but if you desire to bring food or drink of some sort you are quite welcome to.

It is a Christmas party. Entertainment will mostly consist of speaking with the other residents here, though carol singing is not out of the question.

The reception so far has been very good. I do believe a great many people will be there, if the number of those who have replied is anything to go by.

I look forward to seeing you at the party,

Yours sincerely,

Alice Liddell

Dear Alice Liddell,

I'll be there! It just wouldn't be a party without Tasslehoff Burrfoot!

Sincerely,

Tasslehoff Burrfoot

Mr. Fell and Miss Liddell,

Count me in. Will you need us to bring anything?

Dear Mr Potter,

There is nothing we urgently require, though if there is anything you wish to bring we shall certainly accept.

I look forward to seeing you at the party,

Yours sincerely,

Alice Liddell

I shall certainly be there. May I offer any contributions to the festivities in the way of food or drink?

Daniel hesitated a long time before writing a reply. Then feeling silly for his hesitance, he carefuly wrote out an RSVP.

Dear Mr. Fell and Miss Liddell,

Thank you for the invitation. I'd very much like to attend. Is there anything I can bring or do to help?

Sincerely,

Daniel Jackson

John hadn't met Miss Liddell yet. Perhaps his earlier suppositions were wrong? But a celebration on behalf of the season was in order. He might meet more of his fellow residents.

Dear sir and madam:

I gratefully accept your invitation.

Your servant,
J. Adams

((...You know, I was totally going to have her reply to this and then I went.... "ARG NANA, WHY DON'T YOU SPEAK ENGLISH?!"))

Wah! Why are people sending her letters in English all ready?

Still, she recognizes the name at least.

Fell-san,

Please forgive me, I didn't understand most of that.

Fell-san,

Of course I would love to come! And it's okay. I should probably learn English if I'm to stay here...

Aziraphale and Alice,

Sure.

Your friend,
- Setsuna

Sent some time later

[identity profile] swordandchalice.livejournal.com 2006-12-21 04:39 am (UTC)(link)
Aziraphale, Alice,

Sorry about this guys, but I'm going to have to cancel. Something came up, but I'm sure it'll be a great party, so have fun.

Merry Christmas.

- Setsuna

[identity profile] alicereflection.livejournal.com 2006-12-21 07:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Dear Setsuna,

Are you quite all right? I do not mean to pry, but if there is something wrong and you wish to discuss it with someone, there will I do not hesitate to tell me. I am, after all, your friend.

Yours, Alice

[identity profile] swordandchalice.livejournal.com 2006-12-22 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
Alice,

Err, why do you ask that? It's just that something came up. I'm sorry. I'll still go visit you, if you'd like.

- Setsuna

Along with the note is a black cat plushie, with a tag that says, "Merry Christmas."

The last thing Setsuna had wanted was to worry Alice, that's why he had tried to be as cheerful as possible in the last letter. Of course...excuses were hard to come by in Disneyland. It's not like he could just say, "My aunt died. Please let me tend to her funeral," or something along those lines.

[identity profile] devils-handbook.livejournal.com 2006-12-23 07:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Mr. Fell and Miss Liddell,

I'd be glad to attend. It sounds like a good way to meet new people. Yourselves included.

Thanks for the invite, it was a nice surprise.

-Hiruma Youichi

Needless to say, Hiruma can seem much more wholesome in a letter. Not that he'd lied about anything in the letter, it just... came across a bit differently, perhaps, when not accompanied by a sharp and too-wide grin.

Hehe, forgot to do this before... oh yeah, I have TWO characters now, lol...

Shortly after the invitations were sent, a note was pinned to the door above the fire station.*

Mr. Fell and Miss Liddell,

I thank you for your invitation. I would be honored to attend your celebration.
