Setsuna felt it had been enough time for Duck to get settled in, and he was bored, yet again, so the day was deemed perfect for a special stake out attempt. He honestly didn't think they'd find anything, but it would be worth it to try. And still, one could never know.

He left a note for Kira, Sara and Katou to let them know he would be out with a friend and not to worry, then composed a letter to Duck, and another to Cayce.

Duck,

You doing well? Settled in, I hope?

Anyhow, I thought today would be a good day to stake out the mail boxes. I'm gonna send out a letter to Cayce for her to write me back, but not too soon. To wait an hour or so. Then we'll stake out the area near my mailbox. If we don't see anyone by evening, we'll check the mailbox.

I'll even take a pen and write replies from the mailbox if I have to.

You can find me over at Tomorrowland. Do you know where that is? I live at the Honey, I Shrunk the Audience theatre with Kira, Katou and Sara.

See you then.

- Setsuna

Cayce,

Wish I could say I was writing to find out what's going on in your life around here, but...that's not it, though I would like to know.

That aside, Duck and I are going to stake out the mailboxes to see if anyone ever makes deliveries, so if you could just hold off a response for an hour or so? Maybe even two? That would be great. We should be set up by then.

Thanks!

-Setsuna

That done, Setsuna sent off the letters, then waited in front of the theatre.

[ooc: Anyone is welcome to come along and ask what the heck they think they're doing. XD They'll just shush you and try to make you hide with them. Or you could talk sense into them?]

It took a while for Tamaki to figure out how to send his cellphone without an envelope. Finally, he found a stickey pad and just scrawed "To my dear friend, Setsuna" in his elegant writing.

Then, he turned on the recording option.

"Hi~ Kyouya. Is this good? If you figure out anything about the mail system from this, please let me know. Hi Setsuna, how are you? Are you doing well? How's Sara? I hope the both of you are still enjoying yourselves here." He gave a charming smile.

"Good afternoon, Duck. I don't believe we've met, but I would love to spend time with you sometime in the near future. I hope you're enjoying your stay in the park, and I'm sorry I couldn't greet you in person, but Kyouya's orders are to stay by my mailbox!"

And then, he put the cellphone in the mailbox.

"A what club?" Duck wasn't even sure what to think of a host club. The words weren't providing any kind of mental image. "I'm really looking forward to our movie night! It'll be a lot of fun!" She was sure of that. It would be fun because she would be among friends.

She blushed. "I'm really not very good, so don't expect anything amazing, but i-if you'd like to see I'll dance." The people here were so kind!

"A host club," Kyouya said to Duck. "It's a club that caters to young ladies. We often hold tea or costume events. But here, it will really be very simple, probably just a nice way to meet the other girls your age here."

Kyouya took the phone, shut off the recorder, and played the video, holding it out so Duck and Setsuna could see, although with his finger on the fast forward button in case Tamaki said or did anything too stupid. He didn't fast forward through the short message, though, although he really didn't pay attention. However, once the phone played the part where it went through the mailbox, he watched closely. The video showed Tamaki placing it inside and closing the box, and then a few seconds, and then the mailbox opening again. At first Kyouya thought Tamaki had forgotten something, but then he realized that now Setsuna was opening the box.

"Interesting, isn't it? It didn't even appear to move."

"That sounds really fun!" Duck was going to ask what a host club was usually like, and and why it wasn't called a tea-party club if that was mainly what it did, but was distracted by the video recording. She watched it wide-eyed and she had to stop herself answering Tamaki right away, as if he was actually there. It was so realistic!

"Yeah," Duck said slowly. "There's no sign of anyone touching it or anything. That's really weird. Unless something managed to stop the recording device, or something? And then made it carry on recording later?" She sighed and scratched her head. This was a confusing place; but, as she looked at Kyouya and Setsuna and back at the phone, she couldn't help but smile. It was confusing, but it was worth it.

"Your friend is kind of princely, Kyouya," she said cheerfully. This seemed a perfectly ordinary statement to her: Tamaki had looked a bit like Mytho when he smiled.

"I think if someone stopped the recording device, there'd be a visible break in the recording. That it's dark makes it more difficult to tell, but I agree with Setsuna. It was delivered fast enough to seem instantaneous, and since we know instant transportation is possible for whoever is in charge here, it seems like the simplest explanation is probably the best."

When Duck called Tamaki 'princely,' Kyouya couldn't help but laugh. "Yeah, I guess so. I think he'd be pleased if he heard you say that."

((So so so sorry for lagging guys ;; rl tired me out, but back to normal now!))

Duck huffed and crossed her arms. "It's not really fair they can control so much like this," she grumbled. "It's not exactly nice. And it's made even worse that we don't know how it all works!"

She blushed a little. "W-well, it was just, he has really kind eyes... And that's something princes are supposed to have, right? So I, um. Um." Duck really should try the whole 'thinking before you speak' thing.

"No," Kyouya said, frowning. "But we can work out some things, if we work at it. I hope you won't worry too much about it; I think sometimes we need to accept that what we can do is limited and simply do what we can."

"Please don't be embarrassed," he said with an amused smile. "I only laughed because 'princely' seems to be a common description for Tamaki." Not to mention that the description itself amused Kyouya, because he knew how less than regal Tamaki behaved at times. Plus, the kind eyes-- Kyouya didn't really think eyes looked 'kind,' but it was interesting Duck would think so. There was something about Tamaki that seemed to make most people immediately trust him (and forgive some of his antics).

"May those who accept their fate find happiness," said Duck, "and may those who fight their fate find glory. That's something a friend of mine said. I don't really know what it means, but it kind of works here, doesn't it?"

Duck's eyes widened. "Really?" It... maybe? Possibly? Could Tamaki be a prince too? How to find this out subtly... If Kyouya was Tamaki's best friend, then he ought to know. "Does, um... does he have a really kind heart?"

"Your friend sounds very wise," Kyouya said, instead of what he was thinking, which was more that he'd be better off getting a job writing Fortune Cookies for American tourists. "I think he might be right."

As for the prince stuff, Kyouya wasn't sure what she was on about, but he was amused if anything. It was clear Tamaki's charm was in fact working as well as ever. "A kind heart? That's pretty accurate, yes. You're good at reading people, aren't you, Duck?"

Ah, relief! So Tamaki did have a heart. Or, at least, he had the feeling of kindness. However, Duck thought she should meet him properly, perhaps as Tutu, just to make sure his heart was completely there. (Duck believed that all princes were like Mytho: kind, self-sacrificing, with the tendency to shatter their hearts at the first sign of trouble).

"I! I, um. Errrrr. I'm good with people?" she tried.
