Dizzy Land

Elle frowned a little at the interruption.

"We had a... little disagreement and now we're having some ice cream."

"Do they have vanilla-chocolate swirl?" Katou asked from the door. Seeing Elle and Sylar eating theirs, Katou found that he quite suddenly wanted some.

Cayce, who'd been hanging back out of line of sight of the door, nodded, and began backing away. At least Jenny hadn't mentioned her name.

That had been intentional; Cayce didn't need to be made a target here. She shot a glare at Katou that said clearly 'stay on your guard,' and then slowly walked forward, giving Cayce enough time to get away.

"This was the sort of disagreement that causes park wide power outages?" she asked slowly.

Sylar looked from to her, to Katou, then licked his cone again, slowly, pointing at Elle. "She did it."

"It was an accident," Elle said defensively. "And they fixed it already."

From:

"I know," Jenny assured Elle. "But I'm curious, so humor me. He attack you?"

Jenny narrowed her eyes, and, still standing in front of the door, added "Cause I heard a bit about you, Zane Taylor. Seems you like roughing up young women. Whyzat? Gets you off?" she asked, with a quirk of her eyebrow indicating her distaste.

Sylar smirked a little. "And if it does?" Someone was spoiling for a fight. Interesting to see if the Park liked this blonde as well as it liked Elle. "I may have a larger purpose, but I certainly don't confide that information in strangers." He put a hand to his heart. "They might hurt me."

"Then it's my fault," Jenny said, "I should have introduced myself." She drew the electricity she could feel around her, charging up her body until electricity crackled from her fingertips and in her eyes. "Jenny Sparks. Professional pain in the arse. Now are you going to stop playing silly buggers or are we going to have even bigger problems? I don't like bastards who go around picking on people who can't fight back."

Katou sighed, and ran his hand through his hair. There went his ice cream.

"Katou," he said, leaning against the door frame and lighting a smoke, and watching Jenny. "What she said, I guess..."

Sylar tilted his head, some of the joviality slipping away, and eyed Jenny speculatively a moment while finishing his ice cream. Getting to his feet, he glanced at Katou. "And what nifty surprises are you hiding, then?"

"I've got a spiffy arm," Katou said, holding it up and flashing the claws. He had other 'nifty surprises' but they were just that - surprises.

Elle stood up as well. She wasn't pleased about having her ice cream interrupted.

"Do we really need to do this?"

She may have forgotten that there was still a mark on her forehead where Sylar had tried to slice her open.

"Elle? You want in on this?" Sylar asked, sounding amused. He put out one hand to the wall, and it started to slowly warp. Bend. Melt.... "You can always sit it out. If you're tired."

Not that he thought that would convince her for a minute.

"We don't need to do anything," Jenny said. "I really don't want to fight you, girlie, unless you want to give me a reason. Why don't you step out of here, and let Auntie Jenny handle things?"

But Jenny wasn't about to let Sylar get the first blow in. She fired off an enormous charge of electricity at him-- not enough to kill, if it hit dead on, as she didn't need to test the park security system, but enough to cause some serious pain.

Katou sighed. "Elle, I really don't feel like fighting you," he said. "We're buds, ain't we?" He actually wouldn't have much of a problem if her and Jenny fought, since if he learned anything from Virgil's electric powers, they couldn't really hurt eachother.

When Sylar started to warp the wall or whatever the fuck he was doing, Katou hopped away from where he was leaning, arm ready, and on the tip of his toes.

"Hey now, Zaney-boy. No need to get bent out of shape."

...He'd been hanging around Virgil way too much.

So much for lulling anyone's suspicions--

"Ow!" Sylar had dodged as soon as Jenny had aimed at him, but it still hit the left half of his body, leaving every nerve tingling and muscles twitching from the charge. "Jesus, that really--"

And slam out with the TK toward both Jenny and Katou, hard enough to send them back twenty feet if they didn't move fast enough, while he ducked behind a plant and tried to get feeling back into his arms and legs. Ow, damnit! "That's warped, not bent."

Elle demanded, conjuring a ball of electricity. "What is your damage?" she asked Jenny.

From:

Speed wasn't Jenny's strong point, and the TK hit her hard enough to send her flying back towards the glass window. But before she crashed through, her physical body suddenly disappeared, transforming into into a bolt of electricity that jumped into one of the lights in the room, and then reformed on the other side of the room as a woman.

She turned and pointed at Elle. "Stay out of this. If he didn't try to hurt you, then it has nothing to do with you."

Katou, on the other hand, was fast enough, and managed to get out of the way, before charging at Sylar, eyes narrowed and his claw ready to strike.

He really wished he had Shiranui on him.

"Why are you doing this?" Elle asked, sending a bolt of electricity between Sylar and the others. She wasn't aiming to hit anyone, just trying to separate them.

From:

"He attacked a woman," Jenny replied, keeping a close watch on Sylar. The electricity wasn't a problem for her; it couldn't hurt her. "She was defenseless, and he hurt her. For information." She shot a serious look at the girl. "Information on you, Elle. I don't know what he said to get you on his side, but that cut on your forehead doesn't look friendly. I'm going to make sure he knows he won't bloody well get away with any of that. Don't try to protect this wanker."

"Besides," Katou said, holding up his hands - he had jumped back when she had shot the electricity. "He attacked me. I just wanted some ice cream."

"My apologies. Or, not," Sylar said, standing back, ready to slam them again with another telekinesis bolt, waiting to see which way Elle would jump on this. If she wanted to fight, it was even. If not... well. "You came in with someone who just tried to kill me. I'm just defending myself." He paused. "And I already paid for what happened to Cayce. Spare me your self-righteousness."
