Noticeboard Post/Shizuka Gets Settled

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday I found a castle with a bed inside in Fantasyland. Does anyone know if the bed or the castle is currently being used by anyone? If it's yours, please tell me! I would like to stay there but I don't want to encroach on anybody else's space.

I recall seeing a young woman who was there when I arrived, but I have apparently been gone for some time, and it's possible that they're no longer here. If you would like, I could look for her.

If you'd like, we could look together. She has brown hair that goes to about her shoulders, is kind of short, and is very cute. I can't tell you much more as she was sleeping when I saw her.

Tamaki showed up at the notice board nearly as soon as he got the letter. It was okay if he was there waiting for Shizuka for however long it took her, but it was absolutely not okay if he kept her waiting.

Shizuka arrived about five or six minutes after Tamaki did. A little sheepish to realize he'd gotten there first, she smiled warmly and said, "Ah, sorry! I didn't keep you waiting too long, did I?"

"Not long at all, princess," he said. "You look very cute in that dress, by the way."

Shizuka blushed a little. "Ah! Thank you, you're very kind." She reached out, to take Tamaki's hand gently, although she would let go if he showed any signs of resistance. "Where should we look first?"

Tamaki took her hand happily. "Well," he said. "We could start in Fantasyland. I will follow you wherever you wish to go," he said.

"Setsuna says the lady who used to live here is probably gone." Shizuka frowned. That was creepy and she didn't really want to think about what it meant. "But I think we should probably check just to make sure, don't you? Fantasyland is probably the best place to start." She paused, realizing she didn't know much about her new friend. "Ah, Suoh-kun! Where do you live?"

"She is?" asked Tamaki, looking a little upset. "That's too bad. I didn't even get a chance to meet her." He paused. "But then, I apparently went missing too, so I guess she might come back. But I guess that means the castle is yours." He flashed her a charming smile, and led her into Fantasyland.

"I live in Fantasyland as well," he said. "We're practically neighbours. I live in Peter Pan's Flight.

"How shall we look for her. Would you like to go through some of the rides?"

Shizuka gasped. "You... you disappeared?" she asked, eyes wide. "What was that like? Was it frightening?" She imagined she would be scared, anyway, if she disappeared, and she squeezed Tamaki's hand a little tighter, allowing herself to be lead.

"Oh! Do you? That's great news!" She smiled. "Going through some of the rides might be a good idea. And just keeping an eye out for anyone who looks pregnant. Setsuna-kun said she was..."

Tamaki shook his head. "I didn't even know it had happened until my friend Kyouya had told me," he said, squeezing her hand a little.

He thought back to the girl who he had seen sleeping in the castle. She hadn't looked pregnant, but he had also not gotten a very good look at anything other than her face, as she had been sleeping, and he hadn't wanted to intrude.

"I shall do that," he said. He tried to think of places where pregnant people would go. It obviously couldn't be a ride that was too jarring, or fast, and it wasn't likely to be very loud...

"Would you like to go on the Storybook Land Canal Boats (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storybook_Land_Canal_Boats)?" he asked her.

"Kyouya?" Shizuka echoed. "I don't think I know anyone by that name, yet." She smiled at Tamaki. "Well, anyway, I'm glad you're back now, at least!"

When he mentioned the boats, Shizuka giggled and her eyes seemed to light up. "Yes! That's a great idea! You think she'd be there?"

Letting go off Tamaki's hand to cup her hands to her mouth, she called, "NAAAAANAAAAAAA!"

"Kyouya's my best friend," he said. "And he's the vice president of the Host Club. I will have to introduce the two of you. I, too, am glad that I'm back.

"She could be," Tamaki said. "Alas, I don't know her personally, so I don't know where she would be likely to be."

He began to walk towards the boats, and copying Shizuka, also cupped his hands to his mouth and began calling out Nana's name.

"Your best friend? He must be nice." Shizuka trusted Tamaki's taste and anyway, as much as she liked him, she couldn't see anyone really mean being able to tolerate him for long.

Naturally, Nana didn't respond, so Shizuka sighed. "Let's check the boats," she said. "And then we can try one of the other lands."

"He is!" said Tamaki. "He was my first friend! He took me all over Japan and showed me all the sights when I moved there, and he helped me set up the Host Club. He's a really nice guy."

Tamaki nodded, and once he got to the boats, he held out his hand to help her on to it.

Shizuka smiled, allowing herself to be helped into the boat. "What's the Host Club?" she asked curiously. She added, "I'd really like to meet this Kyouya. Do you have any other friends in the park besides him?"

"We set it up in our school," said Tamaki, sitting down. "It's where ladies can go after school to be entertained by myself and some of my friends."

He nodded at her next question. "Oh yes, I have a great deal of friends in the park. There's no one else from where I came from, but I've made a great deal of friends while I've been here."

Shizuka giggled as the ride started. "Entertain?" she asked. "What, do you tell jokes?" Currently, she pictured the Host Club as improv group aimed especially at female audiences.

Tamaki shook his head. "No," he said. "We sit with them, and share tea and snacks, and we listen to them and do whatever their heart desires."

"Oh." Shizuka thought about that, and smiled. It wasn't as good as an improv group, but it still seemed like a sweet thing to do. "That's very nice of you. Is there a Hostess Club for girls, too?"

I, too, have wondered at the abandonment of yon mighty fortress, but upon my investigation, no trace of its rightful Lord or Lady was to be found. I had thought to take up residence and to fortify the place in anticipation of its owner's return, but have found myself occupied with quelling a terrible uprising in a local province* and have had no time to further pursue the matter. In any case, surely no goodly lord would deny shelter to a traveler in need, so long as due respect is shown to his property.

I feel kind of bad because I completely forgot the mention, but if you need anybody to show you around, I'd be happy to. I know where they hide the ice cream, at any rate.

The way the mail system works here is if you just write somebody's name on a letter and send it, it'll go to whoever you wrote, so if you need anything just write me or look me up at Autopia.

Fantasyland, huh? Not bad, but I'm still loyal to Tomorrowland. Hope you're doing okay!

Her first letter! Shizuka was excited. And she was happy to see it was from Virgil, who had been so friendly to her at her arrival.

That was nice of him. Well, it sounds like your schedule here might be busier than mine, so any time that works for you will work for me.

To tell the truth, I thought the Dumbo ride was pretty much the coolest thing ever invented as a kid. Just keep it secret, else they might make me resign from the Tomorrowland Homeowners Board and all.

Pretty good. Same old rides and pizza business, it doesn't get old as fast as you might think.

Luckily, Jonathan Strange did happen by the noticeboard and spot the note. While the castle was grand and there was certainly room for many, he did not wish to alarm this person, whomever they may be. The subject was delicate enough as it was without knowing whether the author of the letter was male or female.

No apology is necessary, I assure you. This park has so many oddities about it, I find it a wonder that the residents do not encroach upon each other more often.
