Crowley awoke, not in his comfortable bed inside Club 33, but disoriented and hung over on a bench in front of the castle, an empty bottle of rum still clutched in one hand, mouth fuzzy, and head pounding.
"Ngk."
He brought up the other hand to guard his bleary, uncovered eyes from the glaring sun. It took him a moment to realize that there was a great deal more frilly sleeve around his wrist than there should be. Another second later, Crowley ever so cautiously moved his hand down to again discover a mustache and double braided beard.
"Why is the rum always gone?"
It wasn't what he meant to say.

Hopefully none of the other crew were about to disturb their search. Hopefully Norrington wouldn't get to Jack before they did. Hopefully Jack would be sober enough to understand anything they said once they found him.

Walt was very understanding about his trials and tribulations.

And she set off in a completely arbitrary direction, a determined bounce to her step and the sword swinging by her side.

Date: 2008-09-20 03:38 am (UTC)"It must be somewhere," she insisted. "The sea. Weren't we just... oh Will, look! It's Jack!"
She took off at a run, shouting Captain Sparrow's name.

And really, the comment about her figure was just uncalled for.

Date: 2008-09-20 10:48 am (UTC)"Captain Jack Sparrow, I presume," she said. "And his pirate crew. You're under arrest by command of the British navy."

Date: 2008-09-20 06:04 pm (UTC)"Norrington!" Will hissed. "You know perfectly well that Elizabeth and I are not pirates." He drew his sword. "But if you insist on being so pig-headed that you will not listen to reason, know that we are not defenseless. We are going to find the Pearl so that I can free my father. Do not stand in our path."
He sounded so determined when he put it like that.

Date: 2008-09-20 06:28 pm (UTC)"Once a pirate, always a pirate, I'm afraid," she sneered. "Though it is a shame that you've dragged a respectable young woman down with you. If you had had the foresight to accept my proposal in the first place, then I am certain your circumstances would be much improved, Miss Swann."
She lashed her whip at Will. "But I am afraid that I cannot stand by and allow you to escape. There is little I despise more than pirates."

Why did that sound wrong somehow?

Date: 2008-09-22 07:51 am (UTC)Okay, Ray just had no idea what was going on here, with the snip-snip motions and pearls and whips and all; watching apparently-Sparrow he had a really strong desire to proclaim him the best pirate he'd ever seen. And he didn't know why. (Okay, again, cool hair and overall look, but it wasn't like the other pirates he'd known were much competition in that respect.) But he had to be on the side of law and order. That much he was clear on.

Date: 2008-09-23 10:34 pm (UTC)"Men," she huffed, then raised her voice in entreaty. "Gentlemen, please. There's no need for hostility." She pitched her tone to her most charming, turning soft eyes from one to another. That usually worked.

Date: 2008-09-25 12:36 pm (UTC)Franziska couldn't deny feeling even her heart touched when Elizabeth spoke; part of her would always love Elizabeth, but she kept up a stony face. That foolish girl had chosen piracy over someone as perfect as herself, so there should be no mercy.
"I have a better idea. All of you pirates will come quietly and agree to be hung. This is, of course, the only reasonable and non-foolish course of action."
She cracked a whip at Jack for trying to escape.

Date: 2008-09-25 05:07 pm (UTC)Jack turned unevenly. "I've got a better idea," he slurred. "Why don't you bugger off and why don't we go find my ship?" He was surreptitiously (well, surreptitiously for Jack) making stabbing motions at Will and inclining his head toward Norrington and his red coated lackey.
