It was early in the morning, perhaps an hour or so past sunrise (two hash marks on the Fantasyland sundial), and Miss Mrs Una Persson was out looking for ... something. She'd woken up from a vivid dream with the conviction that she really needed to find a Royal Albert gent's bicycle. Of course, as the dream faded, she couldn't remember why that could possibly important. But by then, she was already halfway across the park.

Well, sod.

Nothing for it, she decided, but to get something to eat and figure out what to do with the new day.

((Any and all are welcome to chat with or bother her at any point in the day.))

"World's a stage, really." She wandered over and looked over Una's shoulder at the coffee maker, doing her best to help out, which wasn't much, as she was about a century behind. "What did you do instead, then? It's an odd thing to go to anything else from, really."

Kitty grabbed the filters and passed them to her, "They're interesting jobs for a lady, I am very sure. But I'm certainly not judging by any means." She shrugged and looked for some cups, then passed them to Una, "I bet this place is a bloody nightmare, if that's what you do."

"I suppose everyone has to be the one stuck every so often to understand what it means to be rescued." Not that she would really know, and held a more poetic view of things she didn't really understand than was perhaps practical, "I can imagine, if your version of busy involves rescuing people and dramatic things like that, this really is a holiday."

Kitty certainly couldn't share her views about it being relaxing here, but that was more of her own devising and bad circumstances than anything else, "It must have been a nice change. I'm sure it gets very, very tiring with time, doesn't it? How long have you been here?" She was one of the few people Kitty had met who seemed like they had been here a long while, like they were more used to the park than anyone else.

Kitty grabbed a Danish pastry for herself, as she did have rather a sweet tooth, even for breakfast. When she could afford to, anyway. "Really? I couldn't imagine being here for so long. I wouldn't know what to do with myself." Or wouldn't know how to keep the sort of secret she never intended to have to keep, let alone the one she really did intend to keep.

Kitty had a quick think, "Well, there's the Doctor, who I mentioned, Sir Percy, who's a very nice and...interesting gentleman," which certainly wasn't the least that could be said for him, but it was the most she was allowed to, "Jonathan, too, but I haven't seen him in a while."

"He's definately a good person to know in a tight situation, that's for sure." She thought for a second about how to describe him, "He's the only other person from the 19th century, does magic, apparently, but never showed me, even though he was going to and he was just very, very polite. He hasn't replied to letters or anything in a while. It's rather worrying, but I didn't know him extraordinarily well anyway."

((Apologies. wrong journal.))

"Not particuarly, no." She returned Una's frown, "Do you think that's what's happened, then? Oh...do they just disappear? Into thin air?"

"I just presumed I kept missing him, or he was avoiding me. Oh...well, I do hope he's gone home." It was a comforting thought that people had returned, as well as hope for possibly returning herself. "It's...a real shame, I looked forward to talking to him more."

"I hope so too. I'm sure he is." Kitty appreciated that warning, as she'd just opened her mouth to ask for tea, as the coffee at home was awfully gritty and bitter, "It'll be coffee then. With milk, if there is any."

Kitty picked up her coffee and sat herself at the table, then considered how to answer this question, given that she was still, in theory, a man. She didn't particuarly want to lie any more than was necessary, though, "Oh...I don't know exactly. I was brought up by my grandmother, who taught me all the songs and dances and so on. She didn't really want me to go into the theatre, she just thought it'd keep me occupied. But one day, I was...well, I was getting very sick of her, and when a travelling show, you know the sort that went from small theatre to small theatre, came into town, I press ganged them into letting me go with them. Or I kept trying with different ones until one took me." Pressganged meaning that she finally realised that dressing up as a man might get her somewhere on the stage that just being a small, flat-chested girl couldn't.
