It's the most wonderful time of the year. No, really.

If you happened to be awake in the middle of the night, there was a minute or two wherein you might have seen the decorations going up. Endless strings of lights unwound from nowhere, and went up on all the buildings. Candy-cane colored banners were hung; the pansies that made up the Mickey's face design on the hill in front of the gates were swapped with hundreds of miniature poinsettias. And on top of the gates, grinning nutcrackers and giant gingerbread boys plopped into being. Most impressive was the massive Christmas tree in front of the Main Street Train Station. Observant people would notice that it begins to "snow" every evening for an hour or so.

Welcome to the Merriest Place on Earth. Or...somewhere, anyway.

((Decorations will stay up till New Year's. Feel free to have your characters run around, organize parties, or just generally go "WTF?"))

"Once or twice," Setsuna said looking a little blankly at Kira. "But they're kinda silly to do. Aren't they? And why is it called snowman? Doesn't anyone ever build snowwomen?"

"I guess it could be fun -" Setsuna said, but his words froze in his throat when what Kira said caught up with him. Face bright red, Setsuna squeaked out, "We're gonna do what?"

He didn't make a move towards the snow.

Setsuna's face was still a deep shape of red, and he did consider how much damage it would cause if Sara were to walk by them, but his mind was also working, for a change.

Slowly, he said, "Would you let me put hair on it? And form it a certain way? And eyes? I can draw eyes on it with my fingers. Maybe find some rocks...." A short pause. "I also want to put bunny ears on it, and get a camera."

When Kira asked, Setsuna's grin only grew, added with a dangerous glint in his eyes. "Remember the bunny song I played when we were smashed? The girl who made that dedication to Sara supposedly from me was her."

And bunny ears and bunny song should be an easy connection to make.

"I ain't gonna spread the photo around, but I still wanna see her face when she looks at it and realizes what I'm capable of."

"Wow, you're really biased when it comes to yourself," Setsuna muttered at Kira shaking his head. He couldn't deny there was a sort of pleasure in knowing he'd impressed Kira, though.

He pulled out of the half hug and nodded his head in direction of the gift shop with cameras. "I'll be right back."

Setsuna returned soon with the camera in hand, and bunny ears he had torn off a stuffed animal (it repaired itself soon after).

"Let's start," he said with a grin as he bent down to get as much snow as he could to mold.

Being that Setsuna was already working on a piece, he packed that, then tossed a snowball back at Kira.

"We're not gonna get anywhere if we throw snowballs at each other...."

Setsuna had been just about to correct Kira with snowwoman, but Kira managed it himself, so Setsuna went about making the face and whatever else was needed.

As for whitewashing.... "Like to see you try," Setsuna challenged.

With a grin, Setsuna took the ball he nod had in his hands and tossed it at Kira's face.

"No shit that's a challenge, you lazy ass. At least finish helping before you make a mockery of your demon-self," Setsuna playfully scolded. Snow angels, indeed.

"And that, for your information, was the left breast. I won't forget. We need to be generous as possible to Rukia-snowwoman." To further emphasize cruelly what she lacked, of course.

"More wasting our time," Setsuna grumbled, playfully, about the horns as he started packing another round snowball.

"Kind nothing. If that girl wants to mess with me, she better be expecting something in return." No matter what he said, Setsuna was all smiles as he kept building the snowwoman.

"No! Now the snowbunny has purpose," Setsuna argued goodnaturedly as he added round breasts and then started with the hair - he used long blades of grass for that. It wasn't black, but Rukia would get the picture when they curved at the base of the snowbunny's neck, he felt.

As for how it all began.... "You know, I don't think so. I've been teasing her about Ichigo and bunnies for a while now. She probably just got fed up. But she should've known this would just lead to another game."

He tried so hard to remind himself it wasn't a good thing to have the Devil proud of you - it really wasn't - but he was doomed. Before he could stop himself, Setsuna was beaming up Kira, and even enjoyed the hair ruffle. Normally that would have annoyed him a little, but currently he was eating up all of Kira's attentions.

"How could you not rub off on me? We've been living with each for like a year and a half, right? Not to mention, you have more than enough obnoxiousness to share and still have plenty left over."

Setsuna couldn't help himself. He got so little praise from anyone, even Kira, he ached for it and grabbed onto it, cherishing every silly bit of it, no matter how immature it made him feel.

He followed Kira's lead, but all of his compliment eating came to a grinding halt and switched to annoyance at Kira's last bit about being grown up. "Oh, come on. Don't patronize me!"

To himself, he said he should have seen it coming, though, and with a sigh, took the picture of the finished product.

Setsuna ignored Kira's comment about pranks, as, surprisingly enough, the gears in his head were churning away as Kira talked about knocking down or not knocking down the snowwoman.

"I have a better idea. Why don't we take off the bunny ears, change the hair to a more neutral look, and take another picture. Then we can use that picture for Christmas cards to everyone (not the kids) this year. Something like...snowpeople should be an equal opportunity thing. Merry Christmas from the snowwomen." A pause. "Then we can leave it up and Rukia won't know it was her when she sees it. And...when she gets the Christmas card, she'll realize how lucky she was I didn't use her snowwoman for that."

Leave it to Kira to want to one-up Setsuna. Finally, blood rushed to the kid's cheeks and he looked around. "Uhh, you think we have enough snow for that?"

"Alright...." Setsuna started gathering up what he could, making an effort, despite his red cheeks.

Oh, yeah, that helped. Setsuna's face went a bright red with slight disgust. He never did understand that stuff.

"You know I don't like trannies. You make it, then. And I'll take the picture. Sheesh."

Setsuna couldn't stop blushing after that, especially since his mind suggested Kira might have been messing with him just to fluster the kid. It was hard to tell.

Quickly, he got the image, then stepped forward, and his hands went out, aiming for Kira to push him towards the snowwoman.

"What was that you said earlier about whitewashing, Senpai?"

Setsuna couldn't help the devilish grin that appeared on his face as he tried to snap a shot of Kira before he got up. Kira's look got that same grin as Setsuna asked, "So, Senpai?"

"What makes you think I got it all from you?" Setsuna quipped back, clearly pleased with himself. And just so Kira didn't worry much about it, or maybe just to brag, Setsuna added, "The picture is just to remind you I owned your ass."

"My own head," Setsuna said confidently, and when Kira asked to see the camera, Setsuna shook his head and pulled it away. "No way. I'm not that stupid. I'll get the snowwoman pic to you, but the other two are mine."

"No!" Setsuna cried out as he tried to avoid Kira and make a run for it. But he was willing to make a bargain.... "How about you leave the camera be, and I'll admit I'm tainted completely because of you?"

At Kira's acceptance, Setsuna calmed down, though he clutched the camera to his chest, and admitted, loudly, "I'm completely and utterly tainted because of Kira Sakuya. It's all his fault." A pause. "Happy now?"
