[[Invitations here, party here. Backdated to yesterday.]]

Thankfully, the kid got over his slightly painful exchange with Katou rather quickly, especially in the face of a party and seeing everyone. He hadn't heard from Demyx, but the kid was holding out hope he'd show up anyway. Seeing the Starcade games on and going made the kid grin. The "DO NOT MAKE OUT HERE" sign on Cayce's office door only made him crack up. Fine, if he and Sara got caught making out anywhere else, and someone complained, he'd point out he wasn't making out in the office.

There were tables for refreshments on the upper level, along with tables for people to sit at with food and drink. He added some sodas he'd brought along to the refreshment table, then a couple of pizzas to another table, already feeling the giddy mood of celebrating for no reason enter his system.

His "duties" done, Setsuna went to the lower level and, instead of waiting by the door like a good host, the kid, impatiently, started to play one of the games.

Her eyes went to the ceiling a bit at that one. "Well, I didn't name her, actually. Her name was given to me by a guy named Strider, who said the language was Elvish?" She hoped that didn't sound utterly ridiculous to him; most people gave her funny looks on that one. "But I'm not from a time period that really works around here. From a planet called Caprica. One of the Twelve Colonies of Kobol that no one here seems to know about, except as zodiac signs. Doesn't matter so much now that the planet's gone, I guess."

“You’re joking. I mean…. I… Elvish? Strider?” A –just a touch hysterical– high pitched little squeaky noise escaped him. “Wow.”

The puzzle her next words offered were a welcome distraction from the idea that there were also The Lord of the Rings characters in the park. The Doctor’s brow furrowed as he slid one hand around Sador’s head to scratch under her chin.

“Twelve Colonies of Kobol, now, where have I heard that before? Hang on.” He scrubbed his hand through his hair. “Hang on hang on… Kobol, Kobol… Lords of Kobol? Twelve colonies… a war, that’s right, it was the story of a great war, or rather the aftermath… c’mon, think,” he batted his forehead twice with the palm of his hands, then drew it through his hair again. “It was a refugee story… I wanna say, a ship called Galactica?” he frowned up at her, questioningly.

She almost wanted to ask if she knew something about Strider, as it sure sounded that way from his surprise, but then he started rambling like a crazy person and Starbuck lost all orientation on reality.

Galactica. He had said Galactica.

"How the frak do you know about that?" she asked quietly, and maybe there was just a bit too much hope in her face. There were a dozen, no, a thousand other questions she could be asking, but in that moment, that was all she could manage.

“I dunno…” the Doctor admitted ruefully. “It’s a story, legend maybe, that I heard… mmm, somewhere. Long time ago.” He scratched his head. “There was a war, yeah? That’s right, and the survivors set out across the stars, searching for the lost thirteenth colony. And there were… cybermen involved? No, that’s not it. That’s what I thought at the time, when I first heard the story, and where was that? but anyway, it was something similar.”
