Virgil and Katou's Hot Date (Semi-Closed RP, Backdated to right after Katou gets settled)

Since Katou had friends in the park Virgil was sure he'd want to hang with, he waited a few days to let Katou get settled in before he decided to make good on his promise of a date. But he didn't have much going on himself, so a couple nights later he prepared to go meet Katou. He first went for the civilian clothes, but decided instead to go for his jeans as well as a white button-down over his Static t-shirt and the worst tie he could find. Then, he collected a bouquet of flowers and knocked on the door of the auditorium.

Virgil grinned, and grabbed a piece of pizza on his own. "I think my poor flesh might be able to handle it now," he said, taking a bite. It was still pretty hot, but it didn't burn at least.

"I think my poor flesh..." said Katou in a mocking sort of tone. He blew on his pizza to be safe, and then took another bite of it. The roof of his mouth was raw now, but he didn't have too much trouble eating it.

He took a sip of coke and didn't say anything, but the way the corners of his lips crinkled said everything.

"Yeah, you smirk away," said Katou, finishing off his pizza.

He frowned, turned his face into Virgil's, and proceeded to make completely idiotic faces.

Virgil, never one to be defeated in a debate, pulled a face right back, crossing his eyes and sticking out his tongue.

Katou laughed, and changed his face back to his own. "You're really weird," he said, not unkindly.

"Awww, I'm flattered," he said, faking a swoon. "Are we at the meaningful conversation part of the date already? And I haven't even finished my pizza."

"Okay, okay," Katou said. "My confession of undying amusement can wait until we're finished eating. I'm not really all that caught up with my date etiquette, I must say."

"Heh, don't worry. You're a pretty cheap date anyway." He took another bite of pizza, finishing it off, and then followed with another slurp of soda. "So what've you been up to since you got here? Been on any rides yet?"

Katou laughed. "Don't I know it," Katou said. "I've never not gone the whole way on my first date." He grinned to show he was joking, and that he probably wouldn't be sleeping with Virgil tonight. "I haven't been doing too much, truthfully," he said. "Mostly been hanging around with Setsuna and Kira, or exploring. I can't say I've been on any of the rides."

Yeeeah, Virgil had no intention of sleeping with Katou, whether or not he could turn into Halle Berry beforehand. "That's blasphemy!" Virgil insisted. "Not even Space Mountain? Now we basically have to go on Space Mountain."

Katou laughed. "I'm going to take it it's fun, then? Actually, I'm surprised I haven't gone on all the rides yet. I had wanted to come where when I was a kid."

"Yeah, major fun," he replied. "And same here, I only ever got to go once when I was a kid, but it was pretty great. What part of Japan are you from again? Thought there was one in Tokyo."

"I'm from Tokyo," said Katou. "And yeah, there's one there, but I never had the cash to go." He ran his hand through his hair. "My family went a few times, and they even went to the one in California once. My sister used to tell me that it was a lot of fun, so I've always wanted to go."

"Yeah?" Virgil said. "Before you were born?" he asked somewhat delicately. His family and his sister going to Disneyland Tokyo and even California but Katou never getting to go sounded kind of messed up.

Katou laughed. "Well, I'm sure they went to Tokyo Disneyland before I was born too, though I'm not sure if it was built back then," he said, before taking another slice of pizza and biting into it. "This pizza's really good, you know."

"Huh," was all Virgil said to that. It was clear something kind of messed up was going on with Katou's family, but it was equally clear Katou didn't want to talk about it, so he let him change the subject.

"It is," he said cheerfully. "You wouldn't expect the park to have such good pizza, but there you go!" He paused for a second. "Anyway, if this is you're first time here, I'll definitely have to take you on the best rides."

Katou grinned. "It's a good thing that I was asked out by such an expert on Disneyland, I must say."

He gave a melancholy sigh. "It's just too bad that you don't have squid ink and squid pizza here..."

"No more on your fake sick ass pizza," Virgil said. He wasn't actually sure it was fake, but he was going to pretend it was. "And yeah, you are."

He glanced at the now empty because I say so box of pizza. "So, rides? Or too much pizza for that?"

Katou laughed at Virgil. "Language," he scolded playfully. He looked at the pizza box sadly, and then said "Rides sounds good. I haven't had too much pizza if you haven't."

"I don't know the meaning of too much pizza," Virgil said. "Okay, Space Mountain is right here, so we should probably do that one first." Yes, Virgil was very strategic when it came to his Disneyland. The maximun rideage had to be achieved.

"What a coincidence. The ride you said was best just happens to be right there." He grinned, finished his pop quickly, and then headed outside towards the ride.

"Yep, planned it," Virgil said, even though that was not true at all. It was kind of a walk to Space Mountain-- up a ramp, through a courtyard covered with a mass of winding lines (Virgil instantly scattered them out of his way with his powers), and down a tunnel until you arrived at the loading bay.

Katou laughed when he scattered the winding lines, and continued down to the loading bay. "Jesus," he said. "This is like, a hike in itself," he said before they arrived. "How much longer?"

"We're here!" Virgil said. They just had to walk down the ramp and get into a car now. "It just shows how awesome this ride is. Usually the line to get on starts way back outside the pizza places and goes around that whole courtyard. Which is why no lines kicks so much ass."

He stepped up to the loading place, and said "Also, we get to sit in the front every time."
