James and Sirius, for today an accountant and a dentist, respectively, put the finishing touches on the Haunted Mansion (they had started the night before, and upon finding that in the morning their changes were still there, they had been quite pleased and finished up). Now that the room where the ceiling rose was magicked so that everyone would fit in it and still have plenty of space to move. On top of that, they had magically rewired the loudspeakers to the room, put up some spooky decorations, and even completed it with fake, scary looking ghosts (they had both been quite disappointed in the morning to discover that some of their ruder decorations, including hot, naked ghosts, were removed).

Then, James began to write the letters, and started some music.



Crowley,

We're throwing a party at the Haunted Mansion. Do you think you could provide refreshments? Feel free to come as well.

Then, identical letters were sent out to everyone in the park.

Hey,

There will be a Halloween party at the Haunted Mansion in New Orlean's Square. Come around and have a great time. Also, if you have drinks or food that you want to bring to share, feel free.

On the bottom of the paper, there's a witch flying on a broom, actually moving around on the paper.

"Chii will do that, Sirius-san," Chii said with another bow of thanks. "Is James Potter-san just James-san, too?"

"That's right," Sirius said. "Usually when people have two names, you only need to use one of them. James and I are your friends, so you can call us by our first name, but for people you don't know, you should call by their last name," he explained. Sirius was unaware that things were the opposite in Japan, so someone else would have to explain that part of it to Chii. "We don't add -san where I'm from, either, but neither of us mind you using it."

"Chii will remember this," Chii said, committing it all to memory. Good thing they weren't living in Japan, as that would just require a more complicated explanation, and more suffixes.

"Chii was told -san is the same as Mr., so Chii can use it in place of Mr., but not both at the same time."

"Ah, I see," Sirius said. "Where I'm from, we say Mr. instead of -san."

"Chii likes -san better," the robot explained. "There are too many rules and confusing things with Miss, Mrs. and Mr. Chii does not want to accidentally insult anyone by getting it wrong, so -san is preferred."

"It is a bit confusing, isn't it?" Sirius said. "I think san is perfect myself."

"Chii thinks it is better too," the robot said with a nod. "Or Chii might call a married woman Miss, because Chii cannot tell when someone is married or not. Now Chii will go meet new people and talk to Chii's family." She gave Sirius another bow then looked to where Fay and Kurogane where.

"All right, it was nice talking to you, Chii," Sirius said fondly. That girl was too cute.
