Pippi wondered at first who Elizabeth was but then concluded that if nobody else who could possibly be named Elizabeth was around so that must be her.
She certainly didn't mind being called Elizabeth, it was such a pretty name. And any gentleman so piratical as this must certainly know what he's talking about. Why, he was almost as piratical as Grandfather Fabe!
