Eat Me, Drink Me

Scattered around the park are four smallish glass bottles filled with a mysterious liquid (tasting deliciously of cherry tart, custard, pinapple, roast turkey, toffy, and hot buttered toast). A paper label is attached to each, with the words "DRINK ME" beautifully printed on it in large letters.

Scattered elsewhere are four little glass boxes, containing small cakes on which the words "EAT ME" are beautifully marked in currants.

Neither is marked "poison," which is sensible since neither are poisonous. However, the Surgeon General, were he here, would probably be a little put out that other effects aren't warned about on the packaging.

((The bottles (in Frontierland, Tomorrowland, New Orleans Square, and Toon Town) make you shrink, the cakes (in Main Street, Fantasyland, Adventureland, and Critter Country) make you grow. Have fun!))

Ash waited too, glaring angrily at the bushes. After a few seconds, he shouted "Hey! Come out and say your dumb motto already, it's not like we have all day!"

Pikachu nodded and joined in glaring at the bushes. Any moment now, Team Rocket would say their stupid motto...

Ash frowned. "Well, that's rude," he said, "keeping us waiting. But then again, what can you expect from those guys. Let's get out of here, Pikachu."

Pikachu nodded and lowered himself to the ground a little, so Ash could climb on. "Pika!" he instructed his trainer, somewhat cheerfuller.

Ash climbed up onto Pikachu's back, holding onto his neck to stay on. "How's this?" he asked. He wasn't as small compared to Pikachu as Pikachu normally was compared to him, so he didn't want to be too heavy for Pikachu to carry.

Pikachu smiled and assured him with a, "Pika-pika!" it was fine. It felt a bit odd to be the carrier instead of the carried, but Pikachu didn't mind, and set off on all fours with Ash on his back. It was going to be fun!

"Okay! Where to, buddy?" asked Ash cheerfully, Team Rocket forgotten.

"Pika!" replied Pikachu cheerfully and headed towards Tomorrowland, as he was a bit hungry.

"Uh, where are we going?" he asked. Truth be told, he was getting a little hungry too.

"Pika-pika!" Pikachu explained cheerfully.

"Oh, good," Ash said. "Although I think I might be a bit small for burgers." That was a problem.

Pikachu shook his head. He had thought of that all ready! "Pikachu!" he said, which meant something along the lines of, 'we'll share!'

"Okay!" he said cheerfully. "Huh, I wonder if this'll just wear off or what. I don't want to be this small forever."

"Pika," Pikachu agreed. He would still obey Ash, of course, but some of the other Pokemon might not. Especially Charizard. Pikachu mentally shuddered at the thought of what Charizard would do to their dear trainer now Ash was small.

Charizard probably couldn't disrespect Ash anymore than it already did, so that was a plus. But at this rate, he'd never be taller than Gary Oak.

It was on their way to Tomorrowland that Ash spotted the 'Eat Me' cakes on the ground.

"Hey, they have some cakes!" he said. "I wonder if they're as yummy as the drinks?"
