Hey, Duzell,

So...what's this about you possibly having a pokémon battle with that permanently sugar-charged kid? Do you actually have an animal to battle for you?

I wasn't sure what you were talking about until I went to go see th bulletin board. My name is Duzell, not "Du" and I would never refer to myself by that name.

I have a friend who keeps a list of the park residents. You are the only person in this whole place with a name that starts Du, and I don't even think anyone has the initials for that, either.

However, people have called themselves weirder things.

Either way, sorry I assumed it was you.

Honestly, I hadn't considered beforehand it could be a nickname for someone else, or be someone my friend had missed. I just automatically thought of my own group of friends. You're probably right.

Yeah, why not? You treated me really well, we correspond via letters, and get on rather well. Plus, you gave me helpful information for the kitten we took in, and I'm helping you out. Sounds like a friendship to me.

Duzell wasn't exactly sure how to handle that. He hadn't had any friends in his previous life, and now, quite suddenly, he was swarming with them. Instead, he chose not to respond, but was smiling slightly to himself as he threw the letter in the trash. He would've kept it, if he didn't already live with Setsuna.
