Knowing that there couldn't be much heroin left out of what Aziraphale had given Katou, Crowley carefully wrapped up a bottle of good gin and send it via post to Susan with the following note attached.

The deal was information for drinks, right? Here's a down payment. Right now all I want to know is if a skinny, blond, Japanese kid - name of Katou - comes to the First Aid Station looking for medical assistance. You don't have to tell me what he's there for or how you're treating him, I'd just like to know if you see him. He has a tendency toward self-destruction.

She was intrigued by Crowley's concern for the young man's welfare, but despite her curiosity, chose not to inquire. These things had a way of making themselves clear in time.
