[[Sorry for the spammage, but I wanted to get this done before anything ELSE happens, and before I go on hiatus.]]
Dear Nana,
It's been a while since I heard from you, so I wanted to check up on you and see how you were doing.

Hey, Adam,
Really sorry I've not gotten back to you for that outing yet. Tons of stuff keeps coming up and...well, I guess you already know, don't you? *drawing of a smiley face, like this XD* That makes it easier to deal with, and somehow makes me feel better.
Still, I wanted to let you know I've not forgotten and see how you've been.
- Setsuna
Dear Mr. Fell,
I'm incredibly sorry these have been returned to you at such a late date. A lot of stuff came up, and reading them was slow going for a while, but I didn't forget them, and they're still in good condition.
Due to this, though, I don't think it would be wise for me to borrow any more books from you. I don't wanna do this to you again, or risk injury to them.
Thanks, though. It was considerate of you to let me borrow them.

Date: 2007-04-18 03:44 am (UTC)Oh, it's been... Well, it's felt like forever. We've been friends for almost half a year now? I moved to Tokyo at the beginning of March, and I got brought here in the beginning of August...
I kind of miss them, but I've been living away from home for so long already, so I guess it's not as bad as if I hadn't been living on my own first.
The drinking age is twenty~ you know. Though, Nana had started drinking earlier than that herself.
Love,
Nana.
P.S. I don't really know why. I was really sad though, because I tried really hard and I wanted to be an art student ever since I met my high school art teacher. I went to an all girls school, and he was absolutely gorgeous~ It was love at first sight.

Date: 2007-04-18 03:51 am (UTC)Half a year? That's not long at all, but you guys seem to get along so well.... Wish I had that kind of luck with someone. Meh. Guess that's just how it goes, though.
You moved TO Tokyo, so where were you from originally?
Oh. I've lived away from Sara for a while, but it wasn't the same. I couldn't really stand it. The house seemed so huge and lonely. And hopefully we'll get out of here soon, someday.... You should go visit them first thing we get out of here, if you want.
I know it is. I don't care. And technically this place doesn't have a drinking age, does it?
- Setsuna
P.S. Weird. Did you not put enough effort into the application, maybe? Because really, you CAN draw. Errr.... Love at first sight exists?

Date: 2007-04-18 04:03 am (UTC)I know! Isn't it weird? It feels like I've known her my whole life! I can talk to her about almost anything.
I used to live in a town that was surrounded by mountains. It wasn't big or small. It was called [insert name here, Kaira doesn't know enough about Japanese geography to give it a name], have you heard of it? It wasn't a very touristy place, so I understand if you haven't.
Aww, I'm glad that she's here then. ^-^ And I think I will. My fiance needs to go meet my parents anyway, so I think we were planning a trip home soon. Or, maybe my parents would come and see us in Tokyo... Hmm..
I guess not. You can get off this time, I suppose~
Love,
Nana
P.S. No, I put a lot of effort in. I don't think that I was good enough though. My friend Jun-chan, and her boyfriend Kyousuke are really, really great artists. Even my ex-boyfriend, Shouji had trouble getting in, and he was a lot better than me...
Yes. It seems to happen more to me than other people though...

Date: 2007-04-18 04:14 am (UTC)Heh, yeah, it is weird. Well, it's good you know someone like that. It probably helps with a lot of things, doesn't it? Still...to know her for only that long and already be so close.... Well, maybe I'm not one to talk. I trusted Senpai with my life in about three months into knowing him.
Ahhh, so you were out from in the country? And no, I've not heard of that one. Never got out to those places, myself. What did you think of the city when you got there? Is it really different from where you're from?
Well, you should see them. Especially since it's been such a long time. I don't have to worry about that when I get back. Everyone I would miss is here with me now, so I'm really lucky there.
Ha. Not this time -- always. We should go drinking sometime!
- Setsuna
P.S. Oh, ouch. They must have been exceptional, then. Do they draw any manga?
What do you mean by that?
no subject
Date: 2007-04-18 04:33 am (UTC)Yes. She's really helped me through some tough times. Actually, I met my fiance through her.
I thought it was a lot bigger than back home! It was really interesting. It's pretty different. It gets colder, though Nana's hometown was apparently really cold, so she doesn't seem to mind. I like this weather though.
That is lucky! I have a lot of friends back home that I miss, but I think I'd have missed Nana most of all, so I'm really glad she's here.
I can't drink, but thanks for the offer! Maybe I could have some juice while you have some drinks?
Love,
Nana.
P.S. They really are! I wish I had some of their artwork here to show you! They tend to do more paintings that they put in galleries and stuff, but I'm sure they could draw manga if I asked! I should sometime!
Well, in my first year of high school, I feel in love with my art teacher, his name was Okamoto-sensei (25). Then, he changed schools, and there was Nakamura-san (around 23) who worked at the video store, and rented movies every day, so I got to liking movies. After that, there was the chef Kawasaki-san (35), and then Yoshida-san (20), the pizza boy. But because of them I gained a lot of weight, so I went on a diet, and I ended up collapsing at a movie theatre where I met Asano-san (29).
Then, I met Shouji at art school, and it was love at first sight but we were friends first. And then there was Takumi, who's actually a rock star so I fell in love with them from his band first (he's my fiance). I guess I didn't fall in love with Nobu at first sight though...

Date: 2007-04-18 05:01 am (UTC)...why are you calling me Setsuna-chan now?
Well, again, that's good to hear. Having someone like that is important, after all. What's your fiancé like?
Tokyo is big, yeah. I never thought it got too cold, but winter is kind of tough, isn't it? Where was Nana from, then?
Well, not me. Got everything wrapped up into three people. Makes it easier that way.
...oh right. Damn. That wouldn't be any fun, though. You know...you could still have mixed drinks without alcohol, like Sprite in orange juice. Ever try that? It's actually kind of good.
- Setsuna,
P.S. Oh, they're those kinds of artists. Are they doing well, then? And you should! World can't have enough manga.
I'm so glad I've only ever loved two people -- makes things less complicated.
Wait! Who's Nobu?
no subject
Date: 2007-04-18 05:13 am (UTC)I'm sorry! It just sort of happened! I'll keep an eye out from now on. Though~ If we're going to get technical about it, shouldn't you be addressing your elders as 'san'?
He's... well, he can be kind of cold, and he's always very busy with work. But he can be caring, and he's rational, and he's calm. When he found out I was pregnant, he stood by me and listened to everything I had to say and took care of me. He doesn't flip out. He kind, and responsible, and talented...
I'm not really sure where Nana was from. I'm pretty sure she was from near the seaside, in a place that was cold and snowy for most of the year.
Really?! Well, I've got Yasu and Shin-chan
and Nobouback at home. And there's also Jun-chan and Kyousuke-chan, and Takumi of course. And then there's some friends who I'm not all that close to.I'll have to try it!
Love,
Nana
P.S. I'm pretty sure they're doing well! I can't say that I know too much about it, because after moving to Tokyo Jun-chan and I don't spend as much time together as we used to, but I got to go to one of their shows recently
with Nobouand it was very impressive.Yes. Everything gets complicated in love... I'm glad that things are less complicated for you.
He's Nana's guitarist.

Date: 2007-04-18 05:37 am (UTC)Elder? I don't refer to anyone with 'san' -- my teachers always threw fits about that one -- and you can't possibly be all that much older than me.
So the guy doesn't sound so bad. Is the kid his?
...You guys get along so well, and you don't even know where she's FROM?
Heh! Nice crew there. I don't get along with that many people. Not easily, at least. Somehow, I get along with you. You're ditzy, and all, but fun, and interesting to talk to. Plus you can draw. Maybe that has something to do with it.
- Setsuna
P.S. Eh...does that happen with friends a lot? Where they grow apart later on? I'm kind of scared of that right now. And...was Nobou like, love at second sight, or something? You keep mentioning him, though crossing him out.
no subject
Date: 2007-04-18 05:42 am (UTC)I'm sure they'd get angry if you referred to them with san~ It's sensei, Setsuna-chan~~ Are you sure you're Japanese?
Yes, it is.
She doesn't talk much about herself. I'm really happy whenever she tells me things about her, but it isn't much. I don't like to pry.
Heeeeeeyy, I'm not ditzy!
Love,
Nana
P.S. I'm not sure. I've just been spending more time with Nana, is all. I still go to Jun when I need someone to tell me what to do, or to tell me that I'm being stupid or something. She's good for that~
Nobou was... well, we eventually fell in love. It didn't last for too long though...
no subject
Date: 2007-04-18 05:58 am (UTC)I wouldn't call them sensei, though, and then wouldn't use san for anyone. The only person I ever gave respect to was Kira-senpai. Ever. YES. I'm Japanese. >P And a quarter British.
Okay, good. Just making sure.
That's understandable. Aren't you ever dying of curiosity, though?
Yeah you are! Kind of. You're not that bad. I've seen worse, but you ARE.
- Setsuna,
P.S. ...tell you what to do?
Eventually. Who have you NOT fallen in love with?
no subject
Date: 2007-04-18 06:03 am (UTC)You're weird~
Sometimes. But I don't want to scare her away. And it makes me feel really special when she trusts me enough to tell me things on her own.
You're mean. Little drawing of Nana sticking out her tongue and pulling down her eyelid.
Love,
Nana.
P.S. Yeah. Like, if I need advice and don't know what to do.
Well, I haven't fallen in love with you~ And Shin-chan's more like my son. And I never fell in love with Kyousuke.
no subject
Date: 2007-04-18 01:17 pm (UTC)So are you~!
Aww, yeah, I can understand that too. The secretive types are hard to deal with.
Whatever, then. You just don't want to admit it.
- Setsuna
P.S. But you NEED to be told what to do?
Thank SOMETHING for that fact. I have enough problems. Shin-chan...? I think that's a new one. Kyousuke?
no subject
Date: 2007-04-18 01:22 pm (UTC)At least I always called my teachers ~sensei~~ ♥
Yes, but she always listens to me whenever I want to talk. She's really a great friend. ♥
Love,
Nana
P.S. Sometimes, yes.
Shin-chan is the bass player in Nana's band~ I helped find him! ^_^ And Kyousuke is Jun-chan's boyfriend.

Date: 2007-04-18 04:51 pm (UTC)That doesn't make you non-weird, it just means you were a goodie-goodie.
Oh, I wasn't saying she isn't a good friend, I'm sure she is since you get along so well with her. Someone to talk to is always important.
-Setsuna
P.S. Heh, glad I don't have that problem, well, for the most part. Sometimes Senpai does have to tell me I'm being an idiot.
Oh! What's he like, then?
no subject
Date: 2007-04-19 05:33 pm (UTC)It does not! I was not a goody goody!
Love,
Nana
P.S. He's very cute! He doesn't know a whole bunch of stuff about Japanese culture, but that just makes him even cuter. And he's talented, adn sweet. ♥♥♥ Mommy loves her Shin-chan~!

Date: 2007-04-27 09:48 pm (UTC)Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you, but I've gotten caught up in a few things.
And ha...the way you talk about this Shin guy, you're really ready for motherhood, huh?

Date: 2007-04-27 09:52 pm (UTC)Oh, that's fine! I understand how that goes. =)
I really hope so. Sometimes, I'm not so sure, but other times I really am.
Love,
Nana
