"Hey! A kid!" Setsuna happily says as he approaches the two, wondering what Kira was talking about with Calvin. The voice over the speaker had sounded young, but he still hadn't expected a child. Setsuna flashes Kira an unmistakable thrilled smile. "And look! He's got a friend for the tiger princess!"
There may have been another child around, but since Setsuna had never seen any he thought Calvin was the first. Oddly...seeing one obviously talking to his stuffed tiger made Setsuna miss Adam.... He wasn't even sure why, since they had only really talked once; perhaps the day had just been that memorable.
He doesn't waste time in telling Calvin, "We all live here when we arrive. So since you came here, you're gonna get to live here too." It's not a lie -- since Setsuna can't manage one anyway -- but he decides to leave out the part about being stuck, for now since he's not sure how the kid will take that. He knows he's going to have to mention it eventually, though.
