Bored, the demon walked over to the lake to see who was around...


((Crowley really, really wants to do some bastardly things to people. If you'd like him to do something nasty to your character, leave me an OOC note in your reply, otherwise he'll be good. Marginally. No promises, really...))

Carrot whistled a marching song to himself as he strolled briskly along the edge of the lake, on his way to pick up some food. He smiled when he saw Crowley-- he'd yet to have an opportunity to interact with this man, despite the amount of time he'd spent in the park. Which was a pity, and Carrot felt slightly ashamed that he hadn't been more friendly.

He waved as he approached. "Good afternoon, there! Crowley, isn't it?"

Crowley nodded. Why did the dumb ones always find him? Oh, yeah. They were all dumb...

"And you're some form of root vegetable, right? Yam? Parsnip?"

As much as Tamaki was missing girls his own age, the host club, and all his friends (especially Kyouya), he had to admit that he aws enjoying being in Disneyland. It was always nice out, and hey, he had Antoinette with him. He was currently playing fetch with her, but she didn't quite seem to be catching on. He'd throw the ball, she'd catch it, but she wouldn't come back to him, and when he tried to take it from her she'd run away.

"Antoinette!" he cried. She had run off somewhere near the lake, but he didn't know exactly where. "Annnntoinneettteee. Come here girl!"

Arching an eyebrow, Crowley turned.

"She's not here right now, kid. But a little respect might be nice, yeah?"

Tamaki blinked, looking worried. "You didn't see her?" he asked. He looked near tears at the next. "Did she run away because I didn't respect her?!" he wailed.

"I really doubt it." Crowley eyed the pathetic kid. "But then, you'd know that if you've known her for very long..."

Harvey was as nervous as one allows oneself to be when one is controlling someone else's mind. John Crichton, gallant spaceman, was dangerous. But John Crichton, trapped inmate, was even worse. Harvey was being cautious.

And so, he sat in the grass, looking at the ducks swimming across the lake.

Tamaki looked Very, Very Worried. "Maybe I shouldn't have played fetch with her. Maybe she doesn't like it..."

This couldn't go on much longer.

"You played fetch with my sister? I can guarantee she wouldn't like it."

"Ducks are overrated," came a sneering voice over his shoulder.

Tamaki blinked. "You're my dog's brother?" he asked. "You don't look like her. It's pleased to meet you!" Tamaki hadn't realized Antoinette had a brother...

Crowley thought he'd been remarkably patient during the nonsense. He wasn't going to be anymore. "What? No, I'm not your dog's brother. Do I look like I could be related to your fucking dog?"

"You never know," Tamaki said. "I was greeted by a 2D mouse, after all." He smiled. "But you have a sister named Antoinette? What a coincidence!"

"Yeah, remarkable. You have a dog with the same name as my sister," he muttered. "So how'd you bring your dog here, anyway?" asked Crowley not really caring.

"I don't know," Tamaki said. "I just got out of the car with her and we were here." He held out his hand. "Oh, how rude of me! I'm Tamaki Suoh!"

"You don't look like a Tamaki."

The demon just looked at the boy's outstretched hand without making any move to take it. "Name's Anthony Crowley."

"You don't think so?" he said. "It's Japanese," as if Crowley couldn't figure that out himself. "My father named me. He's from Japan. I just moved to Japan last year to see if I could inherit the company," because obviously, Crowley cared. He didn't drop his hand. "It's nice to meet you, Mr. Crowley."

He continued to not take the offered hand. "Just Crowley. So, can you inherit the company?"

Tamaki shrugged, finally giving up and letting his hand fall to his side. "I'm not sure. But I'm not really all that concerned. I mean, I'm not completely uninterested in my father's work, but I've got this look that no one could ignore, or I could use my genius to become a great scientist, or maybe I could build an animal kingdom in the northern lands!"

The demon blinked. Modest. As bizarre as the latter two statements were, the one he latched onto was, "You have a look no one can ignore?"

"Of course not," Tamaki said, flicking his hair. "It's completely perfect, don't you think? God has blessed me by making me absolutely perfect in every way!"

Harvey looked up, sizing up the man behind him. "Have the ducks done something terrible to you? They seem perfectly peaceable to me, swimming there like that."

"That was generous of Him," said Crowley mildly. "Although, are you completely certain that you're perfect? You don't have a single blemish?"

"That's what I mean. They seem perfectly peaceable until they come over to peck your eyes out. Definitely overrated."

Crowley was getting an odd sense from this man, so he stayed alert.

"Not one!" Tamaki said. "Do you see one on this perfect face of mine? And, I'm a genius, and I'm kind and caring, not to mention generous.
