Boba Fett had been doing his daily routine surveilance, coming up with nothing very interesting as usual. Had he known the day was going to take such an alarming turn toward interesting, he might have bothered looking for an umbrella.
There seemed to be something happening over by the fountain. A young man had walked off in what appeared to be embarrassment and sadness. Fett was not at all surprised to find Crowley in the nearby vicinity. However, he did wonder what would happen now that the drone had shown up. Fett stayed far back for the time being; he had no desire to enter into a conflict, and that would undoubtedly happen if he came close enough to the defective thing.
It seemed to be happening anyway. After the second splash, Fett moved closer, intent on puzzling it out. It made no sense for the park to be in control of this. Stylistically, the action was off. Something else was going on here, and he did not like any of the options he was coming up with.
However, seeing the drone tossed into the air by a powerful jet of water was certainly not without humor, even to someone like him. Fett paused, watching the action taking place at the lake in silence, carefully observing the details and recording everything in sight. When the wave came up, he was glad for not having closed the distance too quickly, back far enough that he would not receive the brunt of force that such a wave could deliver.
Once the wave was done, the drone dispersed and likely quite irritated, Fett walked into the flooded area, past upturned carts and floating paper cups. A duck paddled along not too far from where he stood, and there was a sound amid the splashing. It might have been a snort or a rough laugh. It might have been nothing. Either way, Fett would say nothing of it.
