dizzy_landJames wasn't entirely sure where Sirius was staying, other than the fact that it was in Fantasyland. As a result, James thought it might be better if he brought Sirius back to where he was staying.
He felt somewhat guilty for not stopping Remus before he could do any actual physical damage, and he did intend to talk to Remus about this as soon as he could. Especially after seeing how Sirius reacted to him. He sure didn't act like Remus had betrayed him...
