Considering that Logan had actually lost track* of the number of times he'd been arrested/brought in for questioning/been pulled out of a good buzz by the Neptune Sheriff's Department, he wasn't likely to harbor warm fuzzies toward any cops. But avoiding anything even vaguely paternal was probably a good move.
