When she was younger, Cayce had once actually broken out in hives after a school card-exchange on Valentine's Day. Her subsequent reactions had never been quite as bad, but she always felt an instinctive nausea at the sight of Valentine's decorations.
Seeing the park so bedecked made her head swim, and she sighed. Time to visit Susan at the first aid station. She'd be going through the Advil like candy until this was over.
