dizzy_landBernard had been slowly trying to convince himself that trying to con Susan was a really, really bad idea, mainly by avoiding doing anything. However, when it came down to it, the distinctive need to screw himself up overrode virtually everything else. So he woke up and scribbled out a note to Katou,
Katou,
Plan. Today. At around mid afternoon. No excuses for not doing it.
Bernard.
He didn't think that sending a letter with his name signed might be evidence against him, but he didn't really care either. He had already formulated slight plans of his own to fake alcohol poisoning - they mainly consisted of getting drunk (easy with the moonshine he had left), mixing some salt in the wine if vomit was called for (emergencies only), and then passing out in full view of someone small and irresponsible. Preferably a child. Who would then go get Susan and drag her away from the First Aid Station. It was flawless.
With a drunken swagger and wonderfully clumsy trip and fall, he managed to pull this off, landing face first in a flower bed, then rolling over on to his back to a fake, spreadeagled faint. He was very sure he had seen small people in the near distance, and had presumed it was a midget drunk. Perfect.
((apologies for taking so long. Have been entertaining mon frere. I presume Katou can do his own thing in a comment thread etc and Susan can go where ever the hell she pleases. Self explanatory, really. And course, random stranger is needed to kick the whole thing off. (failing that, I'll push Shaun in.) Plans ahoy.XD))
