It had taken Tamaki a few days (and several bandages to add to the ones that he earned while making Christmas dinner), but he managed to make seven poorly made white robes, six with red sashes, a wreath adorned with several candles (this he actually walked around with on his head and hopped and jumped to make sure it wouldn't come tumbling down when worn), and even a cone hat adorned with stars.

Once he was done that, he was pleased to note that it was still Christmasy, and then got to preparing some letters.

Dearest Chii,

It's been some time since I last saw you. I attribute that entirely to my not going to Fay's café to do my job. However, I would like to ask you to help me with a favour.

In Sweden, on December 13th, they have Saint Lucia's Day. It's a day where they remember a Saint by the name of Lucia who had become a nun. Her mother wanted her to marry a pagan, and she refused. He loved her eyes, so she took them out, and gave them to him, but God gave her new, more beautiful ones. Then, soldiers tried to set her on fire, but she would not burn. Finally, she was stabbed through the throat, but she continued to speak beautiful words for three hours before she died.

On Saint Lucia's Day, a girl is chosen to become 'Saint Lucia' and she wears a crown of candles, and has several maids, and they have a procession through town. There is a young girl here from Sweden by the name of Pippi, and I would like to throw her a Saint Lucia's celebration. I would like to ask if you would like to become one of those maids.

Yours Always,
Tamaki Suoh

Dearest Shizuka,
he wrote in Japanese,
How are you settling into the castle. I hope that you're enjoying your stay in Disneyland. If you would like, I could take you around the park again. I know several great places to eat, and I'm sure that you'd enjoy them quite a bit. At this time, however, I am asking for a favour.

Dear Pearl,

I regret to have not yet met you yet. I, however, heard you over the radio, and still wish to meet you. You sounded very young. How old are you? I would like to know if you would like to assist me in a very special favour.

In Sweden, on December 13th, they have Saint Lucia's Day. It's a day where they remember a Saint by the name of Lucia who had become a nun. Her mother wanted her to marry a young man, but a nun, her vows prevented her. She turned him down. He was very upset that his feelings were unrequited, and tried to have her killed, but through the miracle of God, she continued to live for some time.

Your Friend,
Tamaki Suoh

He may have known well enough to censer the story for Pearl, but he clearly did not know enough to use smaller words for her.

My Fair Lilly,

How are you doing? I hope that this letter finds you well. I had quite a bit of fun at the snowball fight. I hope that you did too. It was my first one, and I was delighted to spend it with a woman as beautiful as you are. I regret to tell you that I have yet to dedicate a song to you, but I promise that it will be soon. I write this letter at this time, however, to ask you for a favour.

Lovely Sara, he wrote, also in Japanese,

How are you? We needs get together for the piano lessons soon. I've spoken to your boyfriend, Setsuna, and I apologize for how forward I was with you. I did not know that you were seeing anyone. I hope that you were not too offended, because in the presence of a beautiful woman, I cannot help but compliment her. I think it is a mortal sin to do anything but. I write this letter at this time to both beg your forgiveness, and ask you for a favour.

He intended to surprise Pippi after he got the other girls' responses (and them dressed), and then he would find her.

Somehow, at least. He realized now that he had not asked where she lived. He frowned to himself, and then wrote one more letter.

My Dear Pippi,

Would you do me the honour of meeting me at the front gates when the sun goes down tonight?

Your Friend,
Tamaki Suoh

((Once everything get set up, it will be an Open RP.))

After spending a few minutes laughing at the letter--at both the notion of her being a "maid" and at Tamaki's continued attempts to charm her--she sent back a letter.

Sure, why not.

My Love Forever,
Lilly Kane

Well. She may as well encourage him.

Tamaki-san,

Chii!! I will gladly help and be a maid. Though I do not fully understand how someone can lose their eyes and get new ones. They grow back? It is sad so many bad things were done to Saint Lucia-san, but there is no harm in the celebration, right? We are not going to hurt Pippi-san, are we? If not, I will help.

Thank you for telling Chii of this, Tamaki-san.

~ Chii

Tamaki-kun!

It's so great to hear from you! There's no need to apologize, really. I'm sorry for having not said anything about Setsuna. I hope he didn't say anything rude to you or anything... you're just very sweet! I'm good, though! How have you been? Oh! And yes, piano lessons! I would love that! But only when you have the time.

Oh my... that's very intriguing. I've never heard of Saint Lucia's Day until now, but I would love to participate!

Sincerely,
Mudou Sara

Suoh-kun,

I'm fine. How are you doing? Is everything okay?

That's a horrible story! Stabbed in the throat? Set on fire? How awful...

But if it would make this Pippi feel more at home to have a St. Lucia day, then I'd be happy to be a maid.

Your friend,
Kawai Shizuka

Tamaki-san,

Good! I have not met Pippi-san, but I do not like other people being hurt.

I will be happy to join you!

~ Chii

She did as instructed and showed up at Peter Pan's Flight, dressed in one of her pretty pink princess dresses.

Mr. Tamaki,

I am eight years old. Mr. Nick helped me read your letter and explained it to me. He is smart and nice and hand-some.

I didn't really understand your story about the nun. I think she should have married the man if he was smart and nice and hand-some, too. Mystic Maya is going to marry Mr. Nick and she's sort of like a nun.

But anyway, I will be happy to be in your parade now that I have learned my commas.

Your friend,
Pearl

"I do not mind," Chii explained to Tamaki taking the robe, gently. "I will change as needed. I like wearing different clothes to make people happy." She gave Tamaki one of her own sweet, bright smiles then started to remove clothing. She hadn't been told where to change.

Mr. Tamaki,

Oh, I see now. I'm glad you know that much at least.

Okay. Let me tell Mr. Nick where I am going and I will be there soon.

Pearl

Oh! Oops. Chii didn't look embarrassed, or worried, but said, "I am sorry. I did understand this." No one had quite explained it to her like that before, so obvious and plainly. Now Chii got it.

Suoh-kun,

Okay! I'll see you there!

Yours truly,

And with that, she was off to Peter Pan's Flight.

Sure enough, after receiving the second letter Lilly made her way to Peter Pan's Flight.

Lilly rolled her eyes slightly and laughed, "you bet, stud." She looked around a bit before asking, "okay, so how does this work? I've never actually been to a Saint Lucia celebration."

Lilly took a long, skeptical look at the robe before finally taking it from Tamaki. She then looked down at her own clothing. Long sleeves and shorts. Well, the shorts wouldn't matter with the robe, but the sleeves would definitely show and ruin the whole atmosphere. Shrugging, she pulled off her shirt and tossed it to Tamaki before putting on the robe.

"Yeah, I could have," she said. "But this was easier." She shrugged her shoulders, "what does it matter? There's exactly two other people here. And it's not like I wasn't wearing a bra." She paused and looked down at her chest. "Is it showing through the robe? Should I take it off, too?"

"Okay, good," you could never tell from her tone that she was anything other than genuinely relieved. Certainly you wouldn't get the impression that she was enjoying this immensely. "So, what next?"

"Chii...." By her smile, it was clear Chii liked head patting - the act had long been filed away as an endearing form of affection.

Chii went off to get dressed, out of sight as told, and then came back once outfitted to let Tamaki look it over and see what might need alterations.

Her next tone of voice was full of contentment. "Chii...." After a bit, Chii said, "I am ready? And what should I do now?"

Once she read Tamaki's letter, she didn't bother replying as she happily left the theatre and went to meet him at Peter Pan's Flight. Her arrival might've been a little late seeing as she had to use a map to figure out just where Peter Pan's Flight was located, but she managed to figure it out and it wasn't too long that she appeared, a grin on her face.

"Hello, Tamaki-kun!" Sara said with a wave, walking over to close the stretched distance between them, "I hope I didn't keep you waiting for too long."

From: [identity profile] saintlyheart.livejournal.com
"Hee! Thank you," Sara gave a small bow of her head. "I'm doing well! How are you, Tamaki-kun?"

"That's good!" Sara exclaimed before she was proposed with a robe. Examining it for the split second she had, Sara took hold of it, making sure the hems didn't graze the ground, and nodded when he asked her to try it on, "Ah! Of course I will! I will be back in just a second."

Hurrying off into the backroom, Sara undressed herself and carefully slipped on the robe. Adjusting it to her liking, it wasn't too long that she stepped out, a little shyly, and asked, "Does it look all right?"

There was a tint of pink flaring in her cheeks at Tamaki's reply, but she smiled in return and then said, "Oh yes! I am very excited. It should be very fun!"

Eventually that blush had died down as she became comfortable around him once more, "Yes! I do hope so, as well. I'm sure everything'll go just as you plan." There was a nod and then a glance down at her robe as she ran her hands over some of the wrinkles. Looking back at Tamaki now, she asked politely, "Should I take this off so that I don't ruin it while we wait for tonight or should I keep it on?"
