skaffenamtiskaw: (Amused - Rosy)

Skaffen-Amtiskaw was amused by the radio broadcasts; it was also amused at the ease with which it could manipulate the primitive electronic devices that the park residents used to store the media.

And it was also very amused by the number of Earth songs out there that referenced robots.

So it decided it was high time it ran a radio show of its own -- and perhaps learn a few things about the psychology of the park residents in the process.

Thus, a sign appeared one day on the bulletin board.

Is there something you want to hear on the radio
but you're too lazy to program it yourself?
Send a request to Skaffen-Amtiskaw!
Dedications encouraged (even anonymous ones).

((How this works. OOCly: comment here with a link to the song via YouSendIt or similar service, the title, the artist, lyrics if you have them, and a dedication if desired. Also indicate if you want the request to be anonymous or what have you. Comments will be screened so as not to blow the surprise. ICly, consider this sending a letter to Skaffen-Amtiskaw via the post. See the unscreened sample request in the comments if that's confusing.))

((DEADLINE: Tuesday, April 10, 2:00 PM U.S. Central Daylight Time. NO EXCEPTIONS. The post will go up on Wednesday, April 11.))

The magical charts they'd been generating for weeks now had always been showing some odd readings, but once they'd finally finished the calculations and put the spell on the map, it was even more obvious that there was some seriously strange magical activity at a certain point of New Orleans Square. The amount of latent magic radiating from this point was enormous, but the epicenter moved, indicating that either a person or an artifact had such a great amount of magic. Sirius wasn't sure this was possible, since his calculations indicated this would be the most powerful wizard Sirius had ever encountered, and yet there was barely any evidence of magical use in the area at all.

The epicenter appeared to frequently focus on something called the French Market. So Sirius head out to investigate, and found a small cafe in that point. He tapped the map and muttered a phrase that wiped the evidence of the magical readings from it, leaving an ordinary park map, and then opened the door.

Cayce posted a notice on the board:
Disneyland Census #2.

It's been a while since the last time I took a census, and there have been some new arrivals since then, as well as some unconfirmed disappearances. Please review and check off your name. If you're not listed here, write your name down at the bottom of the list. Thanks!

((N.B. Feel free to use one account to tick off all of your characters' names. Or not, as you like. ^_^))

Ticky boxes behind the cut )

ICly, she does not know that she is missing the following names: Phillip/Ax, Axel, Barnabas, Demyx, Greed, Kadaj, Mei, Minako, Misha, Rose Tyler, Leon Czolgosz, Bill and Ted!Death, Aphrael, Philip J. Fry, Haruhi, Syaoran, Bertie Wooster, Envy.))

((XD Just as a note, Tamaki's piano playing tends to invoke feelings in people who hear it, especially for the first time. XD; Though that obviously isn't always the case, and by no means needs to be for the people here.))

Tamaki was skipping work sitting at the piano on coke corner, rather enjoying himself. It was a really wonderful day day out. The sun was shining, the birds would have been singing if there were any birds out, and it was nice and warm. On days like this, it was best just to be outside. It was especially wonderful to be outside playing the piano.

Tamaki, much to his shame, hadn't met as many people as he would have liked, and certainly not as many women as he would have liked.

If anyone were to come to find him, they'd find him playing Elegia. Or perhaps Sakura Kiss. Or maybe whatever song it is in the video up above, because it's not on my Ouran soundtrack as far as I can tell.

It wasn't that he was in a very sad mood, but more the fact that I'm not sure if I have any upbeat piano solos on my playlist. I'll have to check the fact that today just seemed so calm out, and he didn't want to break that calmness.
