He figured Setsuna had known about Katou's family life (since he had been calling him "Yuu-kun" and all), but he had forgotten that Setsuna probably wouldn't know that Katou was more-or-less over the stage in his life where he brooded after that - not since he had found Uriel, not since he had discovered that his sister had never, and would never, hate him, and not since he had realized that the family that loved and cared for him, though was ideal, would never happen and he had accepted that.
He hugged Setsuna back, and grinned. "You don't need to be sad," he said. "I'm over that part in my life."
Of course, he would probably never fully get over what his father had done to him, but he had come a long way, and didn't feel sorry for himself anymore.
"I'll try to cook more. If you want me to make something for you, just ask."
