"Squid ink pasta," Virgil said. "I don't believe you." Then again, he knew very little about Japanese culture. It could be true, and different stuff did seem weird to different cultures. He shouldn't be a jerk about it.
"Sorry, I'm sure it's good, I've just never heard of it. All the pizzas except the barbecue have tomato sauce, though, so if you're not cool with that I guess you could have the barbecue or we could make pepperoni without the sauce?"
