Eat Me, Drink Me

Scattered around the park are four smallish glass bottles filled with a mysterious liquid (tasting deliciously of cherry tart, custard, pinapple, roast turkey, toffy, and hot buttered toast). A paper label is attached to each, with the words "DRINK ME" beautifully printed on it in large letters.

Scattered elsewhere are four little glass boxes, containing small cakes on which the words "EAT ME" are beautifully marked in currants.

Neither is marked "poison," which is sensible since neither are poisonous. However, the Surgeon General, were he here, would probably be a little put out that other effects aren't warned about on the packaging.

((The bottles (in Frontierland, Tomorrowland, New Orleans Square, and Toon Town) make you shrink, the cakes (in Main Street, Fantasyland, Adventureland, and Critter Country) make you grow. Have fun!))

John took her hand gratefully and got to his feet. It never occurred to him that she might have done otherwise. Susan doing something sappy would have been more frightening than anything else - nothing like the capable woman he'd come to love and rely upon.

"Thank you," he said sincerely, squeezing her hand in gratitude. "That was most unpleasant for both of us, I'm sure. May I make it up to you in some way?" John looked at their oddly flat and colorful surroundings. "Perhaps elsewhere?"

"Anywhere else," she said. A pause, a tiny smile, and then, "As long as there are no baked goods involved."

"I believe I can safely promise you that," he said, glorifying in being able to link arms with her once again. John was back to being slightly shorter than Susan and he couldn't have been happier about it as they headed out of Toon Town leaving the 'Drink Me' bottle behind.
