Daniel shrugs too, albeit to a different comment. “I wouldn’t know,” he said. “I never saw the movie, just read the bo…”
He stares at the woman. Beautiful, almost as beautiful as Sha’re*. Wearing a graceful white chiton of what is obviously high-quality linen. And wings, butterfly wings that are either made of some sort of fancy material not found on Earth or, more probably, are some sort of very advanced hologram, as they don’t quite look solid.
Goa’uld.
He pulls his zat** from its holster (a detached part of his mind notes how smoothly he manages it and realizes that all the practice Jack makes him do is actually having an effect; a year ago he’d probably have dropped it) and points it at the beautiful woman.
Psyche. He’s read Metamorphoses, knows the story well enough. He’s a little perplexed by the idea of a goa’uld portraying a goddess who was once a mortal, but perhaps it could be used to the parasite’s advantage somehow…
She isn’t wearing a ribbon device, he notices, and subsequently looks around for Jaffa. None of the beings currently gathered near really fit the bill, but Daniel tries not to judge by appearances. Jack would disapprove.
((Okay, so all the 'gods' Daniel's ever encountered have been evil, parasitical aliens who enslave and use humans for their own pleasure. So he's not gonna trust Psyche right away. I should note that Daniel will not shoot anyone, even Psyche, unless he is actually attacked (and even then he could very easily miss). Hope this is okay- if you want me to change something I will.))

**A zatn’kitel, or zat gun, uses a type of electrical energy. One shot stuns- your ordinary human will probably lose consciousness, other hardier beings may not, but they will experience great pain like that of being electrocuted and will have trouble moving for a time. Two shots will kill most beings, and three shots disintegrates objects (including corpses).
