As soon as Sakura arrives, she glances around automatically and then frowns. None of her companions appear to be here, not even Mokona. Fay and Kurogane were separated once, but she hopes that isn’t what’s happening now. Especially if she’s going to be all by herself. “Mokona?” she calls. “Fay-san? Kurogane-san? Syaoran-kun? Is anyone there?”
After it becomes clear that no one familiar is about, she spots Mickey. If Sakura is surprised to see a cartoon mouse, it isn't obvious. “Hello! Has anyone else just showed up here?“
Mickey coughs theatrically. "'What is your name?'"
“Oh! I’m Sakura!” She smiles warmly. “Nice to meet you.”
"What is your quest?" asks the Cat. It's perched, suddenly, on the roof of one of the gate-stiles.
“Ah,” should she say? These animals don’t seem dangerous, but it probably wouldn’t be a good idea to mention feathers. “I’m trying to get my memories back.”
"'What is the average w..?'" Mickey frowns down at the notebook. "You know, I don't really see why that's important." He flips a page. "'If you could be granted three wishes, what would they be?'"
"Or," the Cat says, examining its tail with interest, "if you were a genie and someone you were trying to
give three wishes to was trying to trick you into giving him more, what would you say?"
“To get all my memories back,” Sakura says determinedly. “And…for Kurogane-san and Fay-san to get their wishes too, since they’ve been so nice to me. And for the other question, I guess I don’t see anything wrong if they aren’t wishing for bad things. Although I think there must be a reason why everybody can’t just have all their wishes, so maybe not.”
Mickey looks rather nonplused at the next, but reads, "'When the revolution comes, what skills will you be able to barter for food?'"
“Revolution?” asks Sakura, eyes widening. “Um, I know how to work as a waitress! I’ll do my best!”
The Cat rolls its eyes in a friendly (and rather disconcertingly out-of-sync) way, and asks, "Milk, dark, or white chocolate?"
“Milk chocolate is very sweet!” she says cheerfully. “I like that best. Although I’ve never had white chocolate before.”
"'Choose the two coolest: robots, pirates, fairies, bears, ninjas, monkeys, vampires, or humans,'" says Mickey, giggling a bit as he goes through the list. "'Explain.'"
“…two coolest?” Sakura is confused by the wording, but she understands the intent of the question. “Well, I’m human, but so are a lot of those. Um, fairies, because I like stories that have them and ninjas because of Kurogane-san.”
"Great!" Mickey flips through the blank pages of the notebook at top, cartoon-y speed. "Well, I think that's just about it! Oh, and I'm supposed to ask, 'for your safety: are you carrying anything sharp?'"
“No!” she says brightly, “thank you, though. Um, two of my companions might have swords, is that okay?”
