Valentine's Decorations

Once again, in the middle of the night, decorations begin to unfurl throughout the park. In minutes the place is awash in pink and red and white hearts, balloons, streamers, banners, cupids, flowers, lace, and all the Valentine's Day trappings.

Romance is in the air at Disneyland.

John grabbed the doctor by the collar and dragged him out. "Ooohhh no you don't. We hole up anywhere, it's gonna be at my place. You can't think of fuzzy, cute pinkness when you're looking at robots and spaceships." He was absolutely sure of this fact.

He let go of Daniel and motioned for him to follow, his steps decidedly heavier than usual.

Daniel suffered himself to be dragged from his haven and followed John... well, off wherever John was going, he supposed.

“You know,” he remarked. “I had a girlfriend in undergrad who majored in Western Religions, and she used to give people Valentine's Day cards with pictures of St. Valentine being bludgeoned to death on the inside.”

"Your girlfriend was was one genius lady, then," John said, sighing. "I seem to remember hearing that the whole reason Valentine had gone along with marrying all those poor saps was to get more people into the Christian relgion anyway. Because, you know, you had to take on your wife's religion back then." He shook his head. "I'm right, aren't I, doc? Tell me I'm right."
