Application for Trucy Wright, from Apollo Justice Ace Attorney

Seemingly out of nowhere, a teenage girl in a blue magician's cape and hat appeared in front of the gates. She frowned, and muttered "But this isn't the backstage room with the mini-sandwiches at all..." before noticing the gates in front of her and gasping.

"Disneyland? I didn't mean to disappear myself to Disneyland! Unless...this is a surprise from daddy?" She smiled and starts bouncing on the balls of her feet excitedly. "Thank you so much, daddy! I didn't even know you could afford Disneyland or you knew how to do magic!"

Mickey coughs theatrically. "'What is your name?'"

Trucy spins around when Mickey speaks and gasps again. "Then this must be a VIP Disneyland package! This is so exciting." She bowed before Mickey, managing to keep her hat on with one hand, and said "Trucy Wright! Also known as the Amazing Trucy, Ace Magician!"

"What is your quest?" asks the Cat. It's perched, suddenly, on the roof of one of the gate-stiles.

She tipped her hat to the cat, as well. "To entertain audiences the world over!" She frowned for a second, considering her answer. "Oh, and to make enough money to pay the rent, too."

"'What is the average w..?'" Mickey frowns down at the notebook. "You know, I don't really see why that's important." He flips a page. "'If you could be granted three wishes, what would they be?'""

"Or," the Cat says, examining its tail with interest, "if you were a genie and someone you were trying to give three wishes to was trying to trick you into giving him more, what would you say?"

"I'd wish..." she tapped her finger against her chin, thinking. "I'd wish for a big tiger, but not a white tiger because that's been done, I'd wish for my very own Vegas special, though maybe filmed in Los Angeles so I can still help Polly on cases, and I'd wish for daddy to finally get around to finding me a new mommy!"

If Trucy really had three wishes...well, she would probably wish to see daddy again. Magic was the only way that could happen, so she would have to use one. But...maybe she'd tell Mickey that in private. Daddy had just bought her a trip to Disneyland, and she didn't want to hurt his feelings if he found out she was thinking about her other daddy. But she'd also wish for the tiger.

"If I was a genie, I'd say 'you can have all the wishes you want as long as you give me half.' That way, everyone is happy! Because I'd also want to learn how grandpa made really big things disappear so I could incorporate it into my panty trick."

Mickey looks rather nonplused at the next, but reads, "'When the revolution comes, what skills will you be able to barter for food?'"

"I'm a professional with a long and diverse resume," Trucy said seriously. "I'm a world class magician, a Talent Agent, an ace attorney assistant, and a high school student. Utilizing each of those skill sets, I would be certain to get all the best food from grateful audiences, murder suspects, and the popular kids."

The Cat rolls its eyes in a friendly (and rather disconcertingly out-of-sync) way, and asks, "Milk, dark, or white chocolate?"

"Well...that's kind of a hard question, isn't it?" Trucy asked, frowning. "Honestly, I think milk chocolate is probably the yummiest because it comes in a lot more varieties, like bars, eggs, coins, or bunnies. But I couldn't say that because it might hurt white chocolate or dark chocolate's feelings. All chocolates are yummy and special in their own way, and I wouldn't want to promote chocolate favoritism. But you can feel free to pick whatever you want."

With a wink, she leans over towards the cat and pulls chocolate kisses in white, dark, and milk out of thin air (or possibly her gloves). "Ta-da!" she says, and then unwraps the milk and pops it in her mouth.

"'Choose the two coolest: robots, pirates, fairies, bears, ninjas, monkeys, vampires, or humans,'" says Mickey, giggling a bit as he goes through the list. "'Explain.'"

"Fairies and bears," Trucy says seriously. "Wait, no, monkeys! Vampires, too! Or maybe zombies and pirates! This is hard..." She frowns and then says, "okay, final choice is wizards and bunny rabbits."

"Great!" Mickey flips through the blank pages of the notebook at top, cartoon-y speed. "Well, I think that's just about it! Oh, and I'm supposed to ask, 'for your safety: are you carrying anything sharp?'"

"Did I pass? I know I'm not the best at exams, but I really want to go to Disneyland, Mickey. Oh, I know," she said, smiling, "this is a good one..."

She reaches into the folds of her cloak and pulls out a pair of giant frilly blue bloomers with pink hearts on them. "Sharp? I'm pretty sure I don't have anything...huh? What's this in my panties?"

She winks, and somehow manages to pull a large sword out from the bloomers. "Ta-da! I guess I do have something sharp after all. Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week." She glances around and then adds in a whisper, "but seriously, it's a prop sword, it's not dangerous at all."

((Trucy is taken from the end of Apollo Justice/GS4. Permission from the other Ace Attorney characters has been granted!))

Phoenix flinched at the hit. He couldn't help it. There was a weird giggling teenage girl right in front of him acting like she had known him her entire life--

"Okay, I really think you've got the wrong person," he said, raising his hands apologetically in the air. "I'm way too young to be a dad. Really." This girl was out of her mind.

"I'm an only child," Phoenix responded, unsure of why he was still attempting to apply logic to what was rapidly becoming, at least from his point of view, a very illogical situation. "And I'm not your daddy, unless I somehow don't remember..." Sorry, I guess?"
