Marguerite had heard Beaufort of course but to be honest she was so caught up in singing and dancing with Percy she hadn't time to let it sink in. She of course knew Percy loved France dearly, but as he spoke she couldn't help but be in awe of the fire he spoke with about her home. She looked to Beaufort for a response and felt Percy's eyes on her. She met them gladly and was pleased to see a smile upon his face.

"I--" she looked over to Jean-Etienne and curtsied. "Pardon us, I'm afraid I have too much energy to sit now!" Marguerite explained with a smile before joining her husband. "I would like nothing more. For a silly husband begets a silly wife in this situation, no?"
