Aziraphale beat back Kira's offense somewhat inelegantly. Flushing a bit at the boy's laughter, he nonetheless took advantage of the distraction to try another series of feints, but he'd used up most of his best tricks and was more or less winging it now (no pun intended.) "Well, that much certainly applies. I can't remember the last time I was permitted to get the last word." To be fair, though, Crowley generally didn't either. Living for millennia gave one ample time to think of the perfect rebuttal.
