She wouldn't deny his words, but the lack of words was neither an admittance or argument with her. For Alexiel, it was simply ignoring what was unimportant. She could flirt and tempt, but she was unable to do what she really wanted here. Her warnings would be meaningless, her attempt too transparent, though it would be transparent enough, normally.

Later, Alexiel reminded herself. Later.

For now, she responded to the last thing he said, coldly, her innate sadness washing over her and seeping into her voice, "Why would I waste time on a sword in a man's body?"

When Kira didn't pull away, she reached up to try to knock the hat off, again, and aimed to turn around after and leave.
