"None," Virgil said. "Uh, well, one I guess. But that's backstoryish, so I can see how it'd get past the censors." His expression probably indicated that this was not something he wanted to go into right now. Virgil hadn't yet thought about what his fictional status might mean for his religious beliefs but it probably wasn't good. Which meant talking to mom wasn't anything more than a literary device.
