Hot Streak was bored. Senseless destruction was only fun when the destruction stayed (and people screamed), he wasn't going to touch the rides, and he hadn't seen Static since Static had arrived (which was probably due in part to him being bedridden for several days afterwards).
He wasn't quite bored enough to go on any rides, but he was bored enough to check out some of the attractions. It was late in the afternoon that he had made his way to Innoventions. He blew up the TV once "Tom Morrow" started talking in that annoying voice, and then blew off the doors and stepped inside.
He was, to say the least. After looking around the first floor for a bit, and getting increasingly annoyed, he headed upstairs, gave it a disgusting look around and then... took a double take. There was no way that could be a car, he had to be imagining things. He walked over, ran his hands across it, hot wired it and... discovered it was out of gas. The car was quickly set on fire.
It was a couple of days later, after looking for some gas, that he returned with some containers of gas that he had siphoned out of the Autopia cars (imagine that, they weren't completely useless).
