Setting the scene... )

Cayce's words of welcome, given after a majority of the guests have arrived. )

((Party time! Talk amongst yourselves, hassle Cayce, get drunk and ride through It's a Small World (not recommended), and otherwise have fun. Feel free to set your post before or after Cayce's little speech.))

((ETA: Here's the limbo thread!))

After reading about Cayce's party, Beaufort decided it was letter writing time, as he was the only semi-modern Frenchman around and had been rather annoyed at the lack of fancy decorations for La Fête Nationale, which was easy to work out from the '4th of July' (as nothing had a real date here, he'd noticed). Time to rectify things, he supposed.

Setsuna felt it had been enough time for Duck to get settled in, and he was bored, yet again, so the day was deemed perfect for a special stake out attempt. He honestly didn't think they'd find anything, but it would be worth it to try. And still, one could never know.

He left a note for Kira, Sara and Katou to let them know he would be out with a friend and not to worry, then composed a letter to Duck, and another to Cayce.

That done, Setsuna sent off the letters, then waited in front of the theatre.

[ooc: Anyone is welcome to come along and ask what the heck they think they're doing. XD They'll just shush you and try to make you hide with them. Or you could talk sense into them?]

Sylar had answered a few letters since the last showdown with Jenny and Katou, but otherwise kept a low profile for the time being. And yes, he had to recover again from getting the crap beat out of him, thank you very much.

Seriously, didn't people around here have better things to do?

To distract himself, he was testing his physical reactions to many, many, many successive rides, and was currently of the theory that time didn't move faster or slower, but possibly *did* stop while you were yelling as the cars accelerated.

Right now, he was waiting for the next train to pull in, so he could get on the ride for attempt #212.

[open! And apologies for my recent absence]

When Fay and Kurogane didn't show up for a day, Chii started to get worried - they'd never just left her before all night by herself - so the next morning, she decided the best thing to do was ask everyone else in the park, as they were always so helpful, after all~! And she felt she should let them know something, too, just in case. Chii, after all, wasn't oblivious to the people leaving thing, not after Mokona and Sakura.

Dear everyone,

Fay-mommy and Kuro-daddy have not come home yet, and I am concerned. If you see them, please let them know I am waiting for them to come back.

In the event they have disappeared like others, then I will keep the Cat's Eye cafe open until either they return, or just for the rest of you so you can have Fay-mommy's goodies, which I also know how to make.

Please be well, and come have baked goods whenever you want.

Cayce didn't get around to formulating or posting her poll until after Setsuna's birthday party, but it finally went up a few days after that event.

Hi everyone,

I've become curious about everyone's thoughts about how this place actually works. If you have anything you'd like to add that's not included in this poll, feel free to send me a note.

You gods who might know this woman as one of your own, please listen to me. We here call her 'Eirene'. She was called 'Adella' where she came from, somewhere... beyond the Rhine... I'm not sure exactly where. Anyway, you'll know her.

She was a good woman. She always spoke very highly of you. So please, look after her and our boy.

My name, is Titus Pullo. Ex-13th legion.

Her husband.

I wasn't always as good to her as I should have been.

I give my life to you to use as you like, if you'll see that she's happy now.

By the way, he's speaking in Latin. )

[[ooc: Say hello, or rather "Salve!", to Titus Pullo from HBO's amazing show Rome. Pullo is taken from the beginning of episode 8 of season 2. Directly after burying his wife who he thinks died of natural complications during pregnancy. Pullo only speaks Latin so... Let's see how this turns out.

Assistance is needed in transporting a large, delicate piece of equipment. Reasonable physical strength and/or superhuman abilities would be especially useful. Some form of compensation can be negotiated.

Please contact Ootori Kyouya via post for information.

((Kyouya wants to move the piano on Main Street to the cafe in Fantasyland. He'd prefer to pay in (large sums of) cash if you're dumb enough to accept it, but otherwise he'll offer personal items, use of the facilities of the apartment (including the hot shower) or Tamaki's body small favors. Of course, he'd happily offer his gratitude as well))

At first, Orihime was simply puzzled why Disneyland was suddenly before her, but soon that was forgotten and she filled her head with the many wonderful things she could do and eat there. Then, of course, she noticed the mouse and cat....

I hope this is as good as it sounds in my head )

[[I am pulling Orihime in just after the save Rukia plot in the series, and have gathered Rukia-mun's permission to take her on; as well as the former Ichigo-mun's, just in case. Extra information is found here.]]

Kyouya liked to think of himself as a quiet, solitary person. Although he was quite comfortable socializing, he only did it out of necessity, and preferred to be by himself and to be acting productively. He had been that way all of his life, never particularly wanting to do things or spend time with people when it didn't benefit him. It was Tamaki who had forced him out of this habit, and who had brought him into the crazy world of Host Clubs and Commoner Games.

Kyouya wasn't one to emo, but... )

Tamaki loved Kyouya. He really did. But the thing was, Tamaki only loved Kyouya as a friend. A very close and personal friend, but he had no romantic feelings for him.

Which was going to make this conversation very, very difficult.

Tamaki had been more than willing to chalk up Kyouya's first song request to the fact that Kyouya thought that Tamaki would like the song, which Tamaki had! Tamaki hadn't thought anything else of it, nor had he thought anything of Kyouya's strange display of affection on the Splash Mountain ride. At the time, he had simply figured that Kyouya had been scared.

But Tamaki couldn't make heads or tails of Kyouya's second song dedication. It wasn't the type of music that Tamaki usually listened to, and he knew Kyouya must have known that. And after analysing all the information he had so far, he had come to a startling conclusion.

Kyouya was in love with him. Kyouya was romantically in love with him.

It really shouldn't've been a surprise, seeing as Tamaki was irrisistable. Still, he needed to talk to Kyouya about this.

Dearest Kyouya,

I am of the belief that you and I need to have A Talk. Would you please meet me at the Host Club Café?

Your dear and best Friend,

Tamaki Suoh

After his talk with Rukia, Tamaki tried really hard to mask his concern for Kyouya, but the more he watched for it, the more he realized Kyouya's poor health. His lack of energy [1], the fact that he would often leave the room [2] (probably to faint or come close to fainting). Sometimes, Kyouya didn't meet Tamaki until late in the day [3], and Tamaki knew that was only because he needed to gather his strength to go out with Tamaki, and sometimes, when Kyouya was especially ill, he would leave Tamaki for the day to hid his illness [4].

Finally, Tamaki knew what he had to do. He had to confront Kyouya, and tell him it was okay if he was in poor health. It was the song that Kyouya dedicated to Tamaki to show that he cared for him as a friend that got Tamaki to finally decide that he, too, should be a real friend to Kyouya. Tamaki could take care of Kyouya when he was ill, Kyouya didn't need to deal with it himself.

It was late the next morning [5] when Tamaki decided to go see Kyouya. Carrying a cup of coffee which he had made all by himself [6] just for Kyouya [7], he headed toward Kyouya's home, and barged in.

"Kyouya!" he called, heading to his room to wake up his friend. "Wake up!"

Tamaki just regretted not noticing it earlier.

[1] Everyone had a lack of energy compared to Tamaki.
[2] Bathroom breaks, mostly.
[3] Kyouya liked to sleep in.
[4] They'd be together for hours and Kyouya would finally decide to go home.
[5] It was already roughly 7:00 A.M. by normal time standars. It was inconcievable to think there might still be people asleep.
[6] It was incredibly watery. Tamaki hadn't realized that you needed to change the filter after each pot of coffee you made. Give him a break, it was amazing he managed to figure out the damn machine (it had only taken the park four times to fix it before he got it).
[7] He had already drunk a pot. He was wired.

[Without prelude, Ella Fitzgerald's version of "Begin the Beguine" plays.]

Good afternoon, everyone. This is Una Persson with [pause] a rather scant handful of song requests, so I'll be filling up the show with ... well, whatever strikes my fancy, I expect. As always, if there is something that you want to hear, call me at the station, and I'll do my best.

Tamaki knew how important it was for people to get complimented. When people were having a bad day, they could usually be cheered up by just one friendly thing said to them. Tamaki started the Host Club so that he could make girls feel happy for themselves all the time, and he was able to do it because he had a lot of free time (most of the kids at Ouran had a lot of time on their hands).

Here, he had even more time on his hands. For one, there was no official Host Club to take up his time after school and on lunches (not that he saw it as 'taking up his time.' He loved doing it). For another, he didn't need to do his homework and study (it might not seem like he was the type, but he did have the second highest grades in his year - second only to Kyouya).

So, he had spent quite a bit of time playing the piano, and entertaining anyone who would come by and see it.

He had woken up this morning with a brilliant idea, and decided that piano playing would probably be out for the day.

That morning, as the sun was just beginning to raise, he went around the park picking flowers and finding pretty ribbons. He tied together about three dozen bouquets of flowers (all with about a dozen flowers in each), and with each bouquet, he tied on a complimentary note (written in very nice, flowing letters), some saying 'You're beautiful' or 'You're looking especially cute today, and others saying things like, 'You're very intelligent,' 'You're good at what you do,' and 'You're great fun to talk to.'

Each of the 36 bouquets had a different message tied to it, and each was left in a strategic place in the park. Then, exhausted, he sat himself near the lake and watched the ducks.

((Feel free to catch him leaving the roses, to see him at the lake, or to just come across a bouquet.))

Tamaki was psyched about Valentine's day. It was definitely one of his favourite holidays (along with every other holiday).

He was even more psyched to discover that he had Valentine's day cards to hand out.

Here )

It would have been far more romantic if he could hand them out by hand, but he didn't know where all the girls lived. So, he sent out cards to everyone who had a girlish name on the list (with a personalized message on each, which I'm far too lazy to actually write out), and then sent a card to all of the male friends that he had made in the park, also with personalized messages.

And then, he sent the rest to everyone else.

Somehow, at the end of it, he had a ton of extra. So, he sent them all to Kyouya.

A world of laughter. A world of tears. A world of hope. A world of fears.
